Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "MéTODO PARA REVESTIMENTO DE SUBSTRATOS METáLICOS NUS E SEM TRATAMENTO". A invenção fornece um método para revestir substratos metálicos nus sem tratamento onde uma composição de revestimento compreendendo um ou mais aditivos particularmente definidos é aplicada diretamente a um substrato metálico nu que não tenha sido alterado mecânica e/ou quimicamente. O método requer as etapas de (i) fornecer um substrato metálico nu sem tratamento, o substrato estando substancialmente livre de alterações mecânicas e/ou químicas, (ii) aplicar uma composição de revestimento de uretano com dois componentes diretamente sobre o substrato metálico nu sem tratamento de forma a torná-lo um substrato metálico revestido, e (iii) jatear com areia pelo menos uma porção do substrato metálico revestido no período de uma hora a partir do momento da aplicação da composição de revestimento de uretano de dois componentes ao substrato metálico nu sem tratamento. O substrato metálico revestido resultante tem uma perda de adesão inicial de menos de 20% conforme medido por um teste de encadeamento cruzado conforme a ASTM D-3359 93.
