Abstract
PURPOSE: To form a smooth, good looking coating surface having large adhering force of coating film by applying coating for close adhesion of special composition and coating for sanding, and making finish coating after sanding.
CONSTITUTION: A close adhesion coating layer 3 composed of 70W80wt% thermosetting epoxy denatured polyester resin, etc. and 15W35% carbon black is formed on the surface of an outer sheet of an automobile on which defective parts are generated. A coating layer 4 for sanding composed of 55W76% the same resin as the close adhesion coating, 4W10% pigment for improving sanding property and 30W 35% pigment for reinforcing coating film (ratio of the former pigment to the latter pigment 3W6) is formed on the above-mentioned layer. After drying, sanding is performed on this surface to form a finish coating layer 5. By this way, time for sanding work is reduced and the suface of the finish coating layer can be made smooth.
