Abstract

Composição sem crómio para o tratamento de metais. São descritos composições e tratamentos livres de cromatos para aplicar um revestimento de conversão ou por passivação para metais, mais em particular superfícies metálicas revestidas por zinco. Os métodos da invenção compreendem colocar em contato a superfície metálica alvo com uma poliamina fosfonometilada. Outros aspectos da invenção envolvem métodos e composições nos quais os seguintes componentes opcionais são incluídos: ácido de flúor, silano, ácido inorgânico de fósforo, um componente formador de um filme de látex e uma gente de ajuste do pH.
