Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO PARA SUBSTRATOS METáLICOS". A presente invenção fornece uma composição de revestimento para uso em substratos metálicos que fornece um equilíbrio único das propriedades necessárias. Em particular, a composição de revestimento da invenção fornece simultaneamente níveis desejáveis de adesão ao metal, capacidade de jateamento com areia sem a produção de poeira prejudicial, resistência à corrosão e capacidade de ser novamente revestido. A composição de revestimento da invenção compreende um componente formador de película poliuretano ou epóxi;/amina, e um composto de proteção contra a corrosão consistindo em alumínio selecionado do grupo consistindo em pigmentos de alumínio não folheado, o componente de proteção contra a corrosão estando presente na composição em uma quantidade eficaz para evitar a corrosão do substrato. Uma película curada do revestimento aplicado a um substrato de aço tem uma graduação de passe após 480 horas em pulverização de sal conforme a ASM B117.
