Abstract
"DISJUNTOR COM CONDUTOR DE DESVIO COMUTANDO CORRENTE PARA FORA DO BIMETAL DURANTE INTERRUPçãO POR CURTO-CIRCUITO E MéTODO PARA COMUTAR CORRENTE PARA FORA DE BIMETAL". A alta corrente de transiente sustentada por formação de arco durante a abertura dos contatos principais (21) de um disjuntor miniatura (1) é comutada para fora do bimetal (61) pela deflexão do bimetal (61) em resposta à sobre-corrente para fechar os contatos secundários (116, 118) na extremidade livre (75) do bimetal (61) e em um condutor de desvio de baixa resistência (101) derivando o bimetal (61). O condutor de desvio (101) pode ser estendido contra o braço de contato móvel (35) portando o contato principal móvel para comunicar parte da sobrecorrente no condutor de desvio (101) antecipadamente na seq³ência de abertura para reduzir a alimentação de energia para o bimetal (61) e reduzir a força fechando os contatos secundários (116, 118).
