Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "FIBRA óTICA DE BAIXA DISPERSãO E SISTEMA DE TRANSMISSãO óTICA USANDO A FIBRA óTICA DE BAIXA DISPERSãO". Uma fibra ótica de baixa dispersão proporciona tanto dispersão cromática reduzida numa banda de comprimento de onda usada como maior área de núcleo efetiva. A fibra ótica de baixa dispersão é produzida pela cobertura de um núcleo central (1) por um primeiro núcleo lateral (2), cobertura do primeiro núcleo lateral (2) por um segundo núcleo lateral (3), e cobertura do segundo núcleo lateral (3) por uma casca (5). Quando o índice de refração máximo do núcleo central (1) é indicado por n1, o índice de refração mínimo do primeiro núcleo lateral (2) é indicado por n2, o índice de refração máximo do segundo núcleo lateral (3) é indicado por n3, e o índice de refração da casca (5) é indicado por nc, então n1>n3>nc>n2 é satisfeito. As diferenças de índice de refração relativas <30>1, <30>2 e <30>3 em relação à casca (5) do índice de refração máximo do núcleo central (1), do índice de refração mínimo do primeiro núcleo lateral (2) e do índice de refração máximo do segundo núcleo lateral (3) respectivamente obedecem às seguintes condições 0,4% <243> <30>1 <243> 0,7%, -0,30% <243> <30>P <243> -0,05% e 0,2% <243> <30>3.
