Abstract

"TRATAMENTO DE UM FLUXO DE GáS CONTENDO SULFETO DE HIDROGêNIO". Gás ácido contendo sulfeto de hidrogênio tem o sulfeto de hidrogênio absorvido a partir dele em um vaso de absorção 4. Um fluxo gasoso rico em sulfeto de hidrogênio é formado através da dessorção do sulfeto de hidrogênio a partir do absorvente em um vaso 12. O fluxo de gás rico em sulfeto de hidrogênio resultante ali reage com o sulfeto de hidrogênio residual para formar vapor de enxofre o qual é extraido em um condensador 44. O dióxido de enxofre residual e o vapor de enxofre são reduzidos a sulfeto de hidrogênio em um estágio catalisador 54 de um reator 50. O vapor d'água é removido a partir do fluxo de gás reduzido mediante o contato direto com água em uma torre de extinção 60. Pelo menos uma parte do fluxo de gás esgotado de vapor d'água resultante é enviada para o vaso 4 com o fluxo de gás ácido que entra.
