Abstract
"TRATAMENTO DE CORRENTES DE GáS CONTENDO SULFETO DE HIDROGêNIO". Uma corrente de gás de alimentação contendo sulfeto de hidrogênio é submetida em um forno 6 às reações nas quais parte do sulfeto de hidrogênio é queimado para formar dióxido de enxofre, e onde o dióxido de enxofre reage com sulfeto de hidrogênio residual para formar vapor de enxofre. o vapor de enxofre é condensado da corrente de gás saindo do forno 6, em um condensador de enxofre 10. Dióxido de enxofre residual é reduzido novamente no sulfeto de hidrogênio por hidrogênio, em um reator 22. Vapor de água é removido do gás reduzido em uma torre de extinção 28, para formar uma corrente de gás isenta de vapor de água. Uma parte da corrente de gás isenta de vapor de água é remetida a um recipiente adssorvedor 30, no qual o sulfeto de hidrogênio é absorvido em um absorvente. A corrente de gás isenta de sulfeto de hidrogênio resultante é ventilada do recipiente 30, como uma corrente de purga. Outra parte da corrente de gás isenta de vapor de água e um gás rico em sulfeto de hidrogênio formado por dessorção de sulfeto de hidrogenio do absorvente em um recipiente 38 são retornados como correntes de reciclo para o forno 6.
