Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO ACRìLICA PARA USO COMO UM CAPEADO PARA PLáSTICOS ESTRUTURAIS EM COMPóSITOS, PRODUTO COMPóSITO, PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UM COMPóSITO DE UM PLáSTICO ESTRUTURAL E UMA CAMADA PROTETORA FINA, COMPOSIçãO DE CAPEADO DE RESINA ACRìLICA, E, PRODUTO CO-EXTRUSADO". São descritos uma folha compósita compreendida de poliestireno possuindo uma camada protetora fina de um polímero de éster acrílico e um processo para a produção da folha compósita. O processo compreende as etapas de unir uma corrente de fundido de cada material polimérico em um único conduto de descarga de extrusor de tal modo que seja produzida uma única corrente de fundido possuindo uma interface razoavelmente bem definida entre os dois tipos de material polimérico, e depois, passar a única corrente de material resultante através de uma matriz de extrusão de formação de folha possuindo suas bordas de matriz geralmente alinhadas com a interface anterior.
