Abstract

"BARRA DE DIREçãO AJUSTáVEL, COM TRAVAMENTO LONGITUDINAL". Trata-se da invenção de um conjunto de barra de direção ajustável para veículo automotor que possui em uma extremidade terminal de direção com haste roscada, ligado ao tubo que possui cavidade anelar e um membro tubular intermediário, sendo que o membro intermediário possui uma rosca interna e uma externa, sobre as quais são feitos sulcos longitudinais, em linhas secciondas. O terminal de direção roscado, o membro intermediário e o tubo estão conectados em uma disposição concêntrica. As roscas interna e externa do membro intermediário permitem através do movimento rotativo, ajustar o comprimento do conjunto sem movimento axial do membro intermediário, e os meios de abraçamento são dotados para assegurar que os três componentes sejam fixados adequadamente e forme um conjunto sólido para assegurar segurança aos usuários, pois, ao ser apertada a braçadeira que envolve o conjunto, os sulcos longitudinais em linhas seccionadas existentes sobre as roscas interna e externa do membro intermediário cravam-se sobre as roscas externa da haste do terminal de direção e interna da extremidade tubular da barra de direção, proporcionando o travamento do conjunto e impedindo o movimento de giro espontâneo das peças entre si, seja qual for a geometria da barra de direção.
