Abstract
"SONDA FLEXìVEL LONGITUDINAL". Uma sonda intravascular especialmente adequada para implantação em porções arteriais curvadas. A sonda mantém sua flexibilidade longitudinal após expansão. A sonda é formada de padrões de meandros intercalados, formando células triangulares. As células triangulares são adaptadas no sentido de proverem um suporte radial, e ainda proverem uma flexibilidade longitudinal após expansão. As células triangulares provêm uma cobertura maior a uma parede de vaso. A sonda pode ter diferentes porções adaptadas no sentido de otimizar o suporte radial ou otimizar a flexibilidade longitudinal. A sonda pode ser adaptada no sentido de impedir o alargamento de porções da sonda durante a inserção.
