Abstract

"CONJUNTO DE FERRAMENTA DE CORTE, E, INSERTO DE CORTE". Um conjunto de ferramenta de corte (10), rotacionável em torno de um eixo de rotação (A), compreendendo uma ferramenta (12) e uma pluralidade de insertos de corte (14) montadas na mesma. A ferramenta (12) compreende uma coroa (18) fixa a um corpo de ferramenta (2). Cada uma das insertos de corte (14) tem um número par de arestas de corte indexáveis (62) e fica fixa na ferramenta (12) em uma cavidade para recebimento da inserto (51), a qual fica geralmente direcionada de forma radial. O corpo da ferramenta (20) possui uma superfície cónica (30), contra a qual as insertos de corte (14) fazem contato, a superfície cónica (30) se estende até o perímetro (27) do corpo da ferramenta (20) e é inclinada para dentro e para trás.
