Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA TRATAMENTO DE áGUARESIDUAL CONTENDO MATéRIA ORGâNICA". Descreve-se ummétodo para o tratamento de água residual contendo materiaiscontaminantes orgânicos por decomposição por oxidação dosmateriais contaminantes, por uma reação de radical envolvendoradicais hidroxila. O método compreende passar a água residualpor um conduto de tratamento de água residual (6), quecompreende um elemento tubular reto (6), e uma parte de geraçãode radicais, que consiste de um elemento tubular piramidal oucónica truncada (1) tendo uma camada superficial interna dedióxido de carbono, para servir como um eletrodo positivo econectada na extremidade a montante do elemento tubular reto, eum bastão de eletrodo negativo (4) mantido coaxialmente emrelação ao elemento tubular truncado, e aplicar uma voltagem CCpulsante tendo uma forma de onda retangular a uma freq³ênciaespecífica. A eficiência do tratamento da água residual pode seraperfeiçoada proporcionando-se uma parte ultra-sónica queconsiste de um elemento tubular truncado (7) similar aomencionado acima e conectado à extremidade a jusante doelemento tubular reto, e um vibrador ultra-sónico (8) montado nelepara emitir ondas ultra-sónicas pulsantes.
