Abstract
Patente de Invenção para "TROCADOR DE CALOR E UMIDADE COMPREENDENDO NYLON HIDROFìLICO E METODOS DE USO DO MESMO". Esta invenção é um trocador de calor e umidade (960) incluindo um elemento permeável à gás (962) produzido de um meio fibroso que retém o calor e a umidade que um paciente exala; que concede calor e umidade para gases inspiratórios a medida que o paciente inala, conservando o calor e umidade pulmonar do paciente. O meio é produzido de um polimero de nylon hidrofilico. O elemento permeável à gás (962) pode ser formado totalmente de fibras de mono-componente do polimero hidrofílico, ou elas podem ser uma fibra de bi-componentes tendo uma blindagem do polimero hidrofílico com um núcleo termoplástico, por exemplo., polipropileno.
