Abstract

"CORREIA DOBRADA CONTìNUA E JUNTA PARA A MESMA" Um pneumático (10) possuindo uma construção de correia dobrada contínua (24) é mostrado para ser mais durável que o pneumático convencional feito usando correias de corte reforçado com aço convencionais. A construção de correia dobrada da invenção é feita dobrando uma tira reforçada (22) sobre si mesma, onde a dobra é sempre na mesma direção. A construção da correia dobrada contínua pode incluir um núcleo elastomérico (23) que fornece adesão entre as camadas dobradas, e reduz pregueamento nas bordas dobradas.
