Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"COMPLEXO DE ENZIMA CITOCROMO C OXIDASE"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um novo complexo de citocromo c oxidase, aos materiais genéticos úteis para a preparação do dito complexo, tais como os polipeptídeos recombinantes envolvidos no complexo de citocromo c oxidase, os fragmentos de DNA recombinante, os vetores de expressão, os organismos recombinantes e similares. Este novo complexo de citocromo c oxidase e os materiais genéticos podem ser originados a partir de um microorganismo tendo as características de identificação da Gluconobacter oxydans DSM 4025. A presente invenção também proporciona um método para a preparação do dito novo complexo de citocromo c oxidase recombinante e um processo para a produção de ácido 2-ceto-L-gulónico (2KGA).
