Patente de Invenção: <B>''SISTEMA E MéTODO DE IMPRESSãO VARIáVEL COM RETROALIMENTAçãO óTICA''<D> Um método e sistema para verificar a formação de imagem pretendida produzida por uma impressora permitem que esta tarefa seja realizada em essencialmente tempo real e utilizando componentes relativamente baratos e de alta velocidade (por exemplo, cerca de 60,96 metros por minuto (200 pés por minuto) ou mais). Um controle do computador comanda um processador de imagens de varredura (RIP) para gerar dados de impressão eletrónicos (por exemplo, uma mapa de bits) que são enviados para uma impressão eletrónica digital (tal como um conjunto de cartuchos a jato de tinta) e também para um monitor de impressão. A impressora forma a imagem do mapa de bits sobre um tecido ou folha, então um conjunto de fotossensores digital linear (por exemplo, fotodiodo) varre essencialmente cada pixel através da largura da área de imagem do tecido ou da folha e transmite os dados varridos para o sistema monitor de impressão que compara os mesmos com o mapa de bits produzido pelo RIP.
