Abstract

Un procesador de imágenes por tramas (RIP) de complejidad y costo reducidos que forma imágenes en tiempo real sin el costo y la complejidad dedisenos de la técnica anterior. El RIP reducido puede ser adaptado a medida para acomodar lag eneracion de imágenes en un intervalo de impresion particularpara imprimir barras eficientemente a menor costo de equipo. El RIP reducido utiliza un modulo de personalidad junto con un controlador reducido parabrindar informacion de impresionlimi tada a un impulsor impresor. El modulo de personalidad adapta el sistema a un impulsor impresor particular, tal como unaimpresora de chorro de tinta de conjunto de cartuchos independientes Moore (Marca Registrada) (MICA). El modulo depersonali dad es responsable de pedir yleer datos de tramas para armar en la RAM de presentacion. Se puede usar un par de EEPROMs para controlar cada lectura de barra acorde a su posicion a ladistancia de una de la otra.
