Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"RESFRIAMENTO POR LìQUIDO DE MOLDES DE ARTIGOS DE VIDRO"<D>. Um molde de formação de artigos de vidro que inclui um corpo (30 ou 92) de construção termicamente condutora tendo uma parte central com uma superfície de formação (32 ou 32a) para moldagem de vidro em fusão, e uma parte periférica espaçada radialmente para fora da parte central. Uma pluralidade de passagens de refrigerante (34a a 34h, 54 a 70) se estende em uma disposição espaçada pela parte periférica do corpo do molde, e um refrigerante líquido é direcionado através das passagens para extrair calor do corpo por condução da superfície de formação. Uma pluralidade de aberturas (36a a 36q) se estende axialmente para o corpo radialmente entre pelo menos algumas das passagens de refrigerante líquido e a superfície de formação para retardar a transferência térmica da superfície de formação para o refrigerante líquido nas passagens.
