Abstract
<B>MéTODO PARA FABRICAçãO DE UM CONJUNTO DE CARROCERIA E CHASSI DE VEìCULO<D> é revelado um método para formar um elemento estrutural de canal fechado tendo uma porção central que é aumentada em relação às suas porções extremas. Inicialmente, um tubo é formado em uma matriz de hidroformação para ter um formato desejado que é preferivelmente caracterizado por uma porção central de diâmetro relativamente pequeno estendendo-se entre um par de porções extremas de diâmetro relativamente grande. A seguir, o tubo é dividido em dois pedaços em qualquer modo convencional, como por corte, para fornecer duas seções de tubo. Cada uma das duas seções de tubo é orientada a seguir na direção oposta de tal modo que as porções extremas relativamente grandes do tubo são dispostas adjacentes entre si.
