Abstract
The compound (DEAEITHHH) is used in the pharmaceutical industry. The method is performed when equivalent quantities of 2-diethylaminoethylchloridehydrochloride and thiocarbamide are heated in a medium of aliphatic alcohol for 4 h at 65-84 degrees C. The reaction mass produced is cooled, the crystals are separated by filtration and are dried. The filtrate produced is subjected to secondary concentration by evaporation in order to produce secondary crystals. The total yield of 2-diethylaminoethylisothiouronic cholidehydrochloride is over 93%. Its melting temperature is from 190 to 194 degrees C, and the product purity comes to over 95%. 1 claim
