"Crible cylindrique fermé stationnaire avec agitateurs rotatifs"
<EMI ID=1.1>
<EMI ID=2.1>

ales is an essential element for obtaining a final product and by-products. Cereals, such as wheat, rye, mats and others, require processing in several successive stages which lead to end products of high purity, seeking to obtain a maximum of flour extraction and a minimum of by-products, namely sound.
To achieve such results, very complex systems and processes are required, with the use of several types of machines, each of which performs a particular operation with a resulting necessity of several phases for the processing of cereals. figure 12) originally uses rollers through which the product enters and where the initial grinding of the raw product is carried out. After this grinding, the product is driven by a pneumatic lifting assembly which introduces it into screens. These are made up of a
A series of nylon multi-mesh sieves or screens through which the products divide and reach a new stage of processing. This new phase begins in another cylinder, passing or not through intermediate mixers, including
the aim is to better prepare the product for the subsequent phase.
The process will be repeated as many times as necessary until the maximum extraction of the cereal to be processed is obtained, noting that in many phases it is necessary to use evacuators whose function is to eliminate
any deposits formed during grinding.
It should be noted that these systems and processes
are very complex, requiring very expensive installation.
The solution to this problem would lie in a machine capable of performing all the above operations at the same time, namely
the product leaving the cylinder would pass through the envisaged machine! and provide finished products and by-products, eliminating pneumatic conveyor, screening, dividing, evacuation, intermediate mixers and simplifying processing steps. With these facts in mind, the machine according to the invention has been designed which performs the transport operations, various types of screening, division and discharge.
Using the principle of the invention, the pneumatic conveyor assembly and the respective cyclones, the evacuators,
various types of screens and intermediate mixers can be eliminated.
Another important element is to use the principle of an existing classical system, dealing with entire phases, increasing the general capacity without resorting to
this goal to a new system but using the existing one,
the machine according to the invention being arranged at any point in the process.
The present invention relates to a new principle of centrifugal screening using rotary mixers encircled by a cylindrical screen jacket composed of multiple individually removable panels, which ensure the screening of all the products of a complete phase of the industrialization process and . which can be used in all phases. In any of these phases, finished products are obtained and the machine can simultaneously perform the lifting, screening, dividing and discharging of the products.
It is useful to note that the process is unlike any previously known system, offering a novelty constituting an appreciable technological advance. It can have industrial application and its use will greatly simplify and facilitate industrial grain screening.
Other details and features of the invention will emerge from the description below, given by way of nonlimiting example and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG. 1 is an exterior view of the structure according to the invention. Figure 2 is an interior view of the object of Figure 1. Figure 3 is a general view of the cylindrical screen jacket made up of multiple semi-cylindrical panels which can be individually removed. Figure 4 is a view of the screen panels illustrating the semi-rims and the angles supporting them. Figure 5 is an illustrat ion of how the screen is mounted on the structure. FIG. 6 is a schematic view of the mixing shaft for large diameters. Figure 7 is a view similar to Figure 6, also showing the screens.
Figure 8 is a schematic view of the mixer shaft, in plan. Figure 9 is a detail view of the attachment of the mixers to the shaft. Figure 10 is a schematic view of the mixer shaft for smaller diameters. Figure 11 is a schematic view of the use of several machines for long lengths. Figure 12 is a schematic view of conventional systems and processes.
The machine comprises two head assemblies connected by four T-profiles 1 located symmetrically forming a circular area and in order to support the structure 2 of the machine formed by a set of removable doors and fixed to the profiles in
T 1 using simple snap-locks, allowing full access to multiple semi-circular screen panels responsible for grain penetration.
The semicircular screen panels 3 are secured by snap-locks 4 to two intermediate profiles 5, also T-shaped, which in turn are bolted to an inner ring 6 and welded to the head assemblies. The present invention is characterized by the presence of a multiplicity of individually removable panels which make up the screen jacket or cylindrical screens which, because of the multiplicity of panels, allow a graduation of the number of types of mesh suitable for the various dimensions of the mesh. mesh. The cylindrical screen jacket can be made of multiple meshes as shown in the divisions of Figure 3, while improving a frame system for the screens in the respective panels.
Each panel, which forms a semicircle, is formed by two longitudinal angles 7, joined by two, three, four or a greater number of semi-flanges 8 in flat bars welded to the angles 7. The panels are superimposed, usually at the top. number of four or more, depending on the desired graduation, and they are set
by snap locks 4 to the T-shaped intermediate irons 5, as described above. For the engagement in the overlays, the panels will present in their upper part, an outer ring 10 of metal sheet welded or riveted to the felt-coated semi-rim 11, in order to fix the superimposed panel and to close the junction.
As indicated previously, the system for assembling screens to panels is completely new. For this purpose, the angles 7 and the semi-flanges 8 of the ends of the panels are drilled at 13 in suitable places, the screen being suitably nailed to the external face of the panel through the holes thus drilled. This system easily allows partial or total replacement of the screen where the machine is installed.
Finally, to prevent the breakage of the steel screen caused by the vibrations caused by the impact of the product,
if this screen or sieve were stretched and attached directly to the frame, a ribbon of polyester fabric offering flexibility and long life is tied to the screen at all four ends and nailed
on the chassis by absorbing vibrations and in turn this tape
14 is protected by the metal sheet ring absorbing the impact of the products, this ring being bolted or riveted to the internal face of the fabric tape, on small wedges which retain the flexibility of the tape.
After describing the type of structure and panel
As a screen allowing the screening of the product, the mechanism by which this product will be made to pass entirely through the machine will now be described.
First, there is a central shaft 16 to which mixers 17 are bolted, this shaft 16 being supported on the lower head assembly by a bearing which swings and supports the weight of the shaft and another ordinary bearing similar to that of the head assembly. In order to ensure perfect rotation of the shaft and give it adequate rigidity, four
flat bars or angles 19 are bolted to all mixers
17 so as to form a solid structure, which eliminates the need for an intermediate bearing.
The mixers 17 are made of resilient iron or similar material and are attached to the two-part shaft, being bolted to this shaft by two bolts 20 on each side of the shaft and with overlap such as angles. of 90 [deg.] are formed between them. From the last fixing bolt to the end, the mixers 17 are twisted with the desired helical degree to advance or transport the product and they are drilled in the vicinity of the ends where an iron plate 21 is bolted, in a bore elongated, to adjust the distance from the metal screen, this plate being wider to eliminate any void between the superimposed mixers.
In the case of using small diameters and great lengths of the machine, a new type of shaft has been considered, which has the same characteristics and functional principles as the old one, but in this case the shaft 22 this axis is formed by a seamless stainless steel tube and the mixers 24 have a triple fit, that is to say the tube 22 is drilled right through as shown in figure 10 at symmetrical locations , a threaded circular iron bar 25 having passed from the edge of the tube to the end, this bar being clamped for its fixing by a nut 26 on either side of the tube 22.
To secure the mixer 24, which is welded to a square nut 27, the iron bar 25 is followed by another nut 28 on each side of the mixer to adjust the distance from the end of the mixer to the screen 3 and also for adjust the vertical feed tilt. The inclination of the mixer 24 which directs the product towards the screen is achieved by a bolt 29 and a locking nut 30. In the case where the machine provides a production phase requiring several divisions, a collar in the form of a gutter 9, in metal sheet with a felt or rubber seal, is mounted around the screen 3 and inclined towards the outer door, this collar having a slope of 30 to 50 [deg.] which allows the door to be cut for the ejection of the product.
Then the section which performs the division of the product can be mounted horizontally, this variant further facilitating the supply of the product to the next machine in the processing process.
The inlet 12 of the product to be screened is located in the lower part of the machine, the fine product being screened first, then passing through the screen and falling into the void 15 existing between the structure 2 and the cylindrical jacket made up of the panels. multiple screens 3 of semi-circular shape, cutting the openings in the lower head assembly of the machine to reach the hopper 31. The larger product which has not passed the screen is ejected from the upper part 32 is the machine.
However, in cases where divisions are involved,
<EMI ID = 2.1>
dimensions of the screens, are ejected from the gutter-shaped collars 9 and from the upper outlet of the machine.
We can also reverse the process, i.e.
that the product is then admitted by the upper head assembly 34 and ejected from the lower head assembly by simply reversing the direction of rotation of the mixer shaft or alternatively by imparting a reverse twist to these mixers. The machine can also be mounted horizontally.
A lift beyond 6 meters, although it can be done by a single machine with connected shafts and intermediate internal bearings, is preferably done in two, three or four stages, as shown in Figure 11, this which avoids connecting shafts and providing internal bearings, each part having only one rolling bearing in each head assembly and one swing bearing in the lower head assembly, all these elements being properly calculated and easily achieved. The drive is carried out individually by means of an electric motor, via a belt in the upper head assembly.
The upper outlet 32 of the machine has an opening covered by a sheet metal cover held on the upper part with a shaft or two pins which can easily turn in the event of a blockage or blockage in the flow of the product. beyond the machine. Machines which are supplied as modules to allow great length have their structures reinforced by an iron arch divided into four parts bolted to the T-profiles at symmetrical locations. The machine is fixed
by means of bolts which hold it on welded angles
on the floor and on the walls, in suitable places.
The flexibility of the object of the present invention should be emphasized, because in addition to being able to be used in all phases of the industrialization process, including the first phase, always giving finished products and eliminating in an appreciable way subsequent phases in the processing, the machine can be made in different dimensions, so that it becomes possible to adapt it to the space available in
