" Caisse démontable "
L'invention concerne un nouveau type de caisse démontable destiné plus particulièrement, quoique non exclusivement, au transport isothermique. Lorsque ces transports se font à partir d'un pays où les caisses ne sont pas produites, les caisses ou emballages doivent supporter un transport à vide. Ce transport, toujours onéreux, devient d'un prix prohibitif lorsque l'expédition des caisses vides se fait par la voie des airs.
Le but de l'invention est donc de réaliser une caisse qui puisse être démontée afin d'en réduire le volume lors de leur expédition à vide, De plus, le montage des caisses doit de préférence, se faire sans accessoire aucun, sans adhésif, par le seul assemblage des éléments constitutifs

A cet effet la caisse selon l'invention est constituée de panneaux moulés en polystyrène expansé dont
les bords libres présentent des moyeno permettant de solidariser ces panneaux entre-eux tandis que le fond et
le couvercle de la caisse sont constitués de plaques également en polystyrène expansé s'adaptant étroitement sur les
bords supérieur ou, respectivement, inférieur des panneaux précités.
Dans une forme de réalisation avantageuse de l'invention, les moyens précités sont constitués par un assemblage à queue d'aronde des bords libres des panneaux tandis que le fond et le couvercle de la caisse présentent
un creux périphérique s'emboîtant dans une saillie périphérique correspondante, de section transversale identique à celle
du creux précité, prévue sur le bord des panneaux précités dirigé vers le fond ou le couvercle.
D'autos détails et particularités de l'invention resscrtiront de la description qui sera donnée ci-après
d'u�e caisse démontable selon l'invention. Cette description n'est donnée qu'à titre d'exemple et ne limite pas l'invention. Les notations de références se rapportent
aux figures ci annexées.
La figure est une vue explosée, montrant, en perspective, la caisse selon l'invention dont une des parois est partiellement retirée tandis que le couvercle, identique au fond, n'a pas été représenté.
La caisse représentée par cette figure est constituée de quatre panneaux 1, tous identiques entre eux. Les rebords de ces panneaux présentent un tenon 2 d'une part et une mortaise 3, d'autre part, permettant un assemblage dit
"à queue d'aronde".
Grâce à une certaine élasticité de la matière
dont sont constituées les caisses, par exemple du polystyrène

aux autres pour constituer un assemblée qui peut recevoir
un couvercle et un fond. Seul le fond 4 est représenté
au dessin. Le couvercle est identique au fond et s'emboîte
par un creux périphérique,semblable au creux périphérique 5
du fond,sur une saillie périphérique 6 qui constitue le
rebord extérieur supérieur de chaque panneau 1. La saillie périphérique, prévue sur le rebord extérieur inférieur des mêmes panneaux 1, s'incruste dans le creux 5 du fond.
A ce stade, la caisse est fermée de chaque cOté
et elle constitue un ensemble suffisament hermétique pour supporter l'expédition de certaines marchandises ou pour constit r le cas échéant, une enveloppe thermiquement isolante d'un autre récipient. Dans certains cas la caisse peut être entourée de bandes adhésives ou autocollantes.
Quoique la caisse démontable selon l'invention puisse être produite en toute matière moulable, l'usage
de polystyrène expansé offre des avantages particuliers.
En effet, cette matière offre une certaine élasticité qui confère à l'assemblage des panneaux, entre eux, et à la fixation du fond et du couvercle sur les panneaux une certaine homogénéité. Ceci résulte du fait que le glissement des surfaces de contact les unes sur les autres est contrecarré par les propriété: du polystyrène expansé et par le fait que la section transversale des pièces respectives venant à s'emboîter est pratiquement la même.
Il est évident que l'invention n'est pas limitée
à la forme d'exécution décrite et que bien des modifications pourraient y être apportées sans sortir du cadre de la
présente demande de brevet.
REVENDICATIONS.
1. Caisse démontable destinée au transport isothermique caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée de panneaux moulés
en polystyrène expansé dont les bords libres présentent
des moyens permettant de solidariser ces panneaux entre eux tandis que le fond et le couvercle de la caisse sont constitués de plaque également en polystyrène expansé s'adaptant étroitement sur les bords supérieur ou, respectivement, inférieur
des panneaux précités.

upper or, respectively, lower edges of the aforementioned panels.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the aforementioned means are constituted by a dovetail assembly of the free edges of the panels while the bottom and the cover of the body have
a peripheral hollow fitting into a corresponding peripheral projection, of identical cross section to that
the aforementioned hollow, provided on the edge of the aforementioned panels directed towards the bottom or the cover.

Thanks to a certain elasticity of the material

upper outer edge of each panel 1. The peripheral projection, provided on the lower outer edge of the same panels 1, is embedded in the hollow 5 of the bottom.
At this stage, the cash register is closed on each side
and it constitutes a sufficiently airtight assembly to withstand the shipment of certain goods or to constitute, where appropriate, a thermally insulating envelope of another container. In some cases the box may be surrounded by adhesive or self-adhesive strips.
Although the removable box according to the invention can be produced in any moldable material, the use
of expanded polystyrene offers particular advantages.
In fact, this material offers a certain elasticity which gives the assembly of the panels to one another and to the fixing of the bottom and the cover to the panels a certain homogeneity. This results from the fact that the sliding of the contact surfaces on each other is counteracted by the properties of the expanded polystyrene and by the fact that the cross section of the respective pieces coming to interlock is practically the same.
It is obvious that the invention is not limited
to the embodiment described and that many modifications could be made without departing from the framework of the
present patent application.

in expanded polystyrene, the free edges of which have
means making it possible to secure these panels together while the bottom and the cover of the box are made of a plate also made of expanded polystyrene which fits closely on the upper or, respectively, lower edges
