Abstract

During continuous circulation of emulsion from supply vessel to treatment tank, the emulsion, contg. fine gas particles, passes through perforated tubular support, then between textile fibres. Foam from top of supply vessel is continuously re-cycled into emulsion before it re-enters treatment tank, pref. entering supply line upstream of pump. Advantage is prevention of expansion and loss to atmosphere of gas in emulsion.
