Châssis coulissant.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>
<Desc/Clms Page number 8>
restante 6.

The present invention relates to a Quasi $ sliding comprising an opening part movable laterally on a lower support hori ..la between a closed position in which it is aligned with the remaining part and a fully open position in which it is located next to this remaining part *
In known frames of this type, the opening part is guided from its closed position to its fully open position, first perpendicular to the plane of the chasie or to the remaining part and then parallel to oe plan or this last part.
The known frames have the drawback that the opening part cannot be replaced freely from its closed position in order to be able to be positioned appropriately in order to ensure good ventilation of the corresponding part.
The subject of the invention is a frame which overcomes the aforementioned drawback.
To this end, in a new frame, the opening part is movable on the internal support, being able to be inclined with respect to its closed position and is brought therefrom to an intermediate position from which it can be slid. next to the part; remaining **
In particular, the opening part can be released from its closed position by pivoting around a fictitious vertical axis close to its vertical edge located

! Wt.tï) had ô1. ., &} '", said opening part can also be released from its closed position by pivoting about a fictitious horizontal axis close to its upper edge or close to its lower edge.
According to a feature of the invention, the opening part is released from its interior veto 1 closed position in a limited manner. This limitation of the movements of the opening part is obtained by rear stops, generally in the form of slats, provided on the inside edge of the interior support or of the window shelf and on that of the upper cross member of the frame.
In order to be able to remove without difficulty at least the opening part from the frame of the frame, these rear stops or slats are removably mounted on the lower support or on the window shelf and on the upper cross member of the frame.
According to a constructive feature of the inventor, the horizontal lower support is a metal plate having ribs directed upwards and carrying the aforesaid parts of the frame.
To facilitate the movement of the opening part, the lower support in ribbed tale and to avoid frequent blockages of the ball or roller systems supporting this opening part, the latter and possibly the remaining part, rest on this support by the intermediary of a longitudinal pad of hard synthetic material, extending substantially over their entire length.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
In order to be able to easily clean the remaining part, it is also mobile and slides from its closed position to a position which is that occupied by the opening part in the closed position,
Other details and features of the invention will become apparent from the description of the drawings appended hereto, which diagrammatically and by way of example only, show one embodiment of the device according to the invention.
FIG. 1 is a vertical section of a frame according to the invention seen from the interior of a building, this section being taken along the line I-I of the following figure.
Figure 2 is a horizontal section of this frame, taken along line 11-II of Figure 1.
The figure ? is a transverse vertical section 'of this frame, taken along the line III-III of figure l.
Figure 4 is another vertical cross section of the frame, taken along the line IV-IV of Figure 1.
Figure 5 is a horizontal section of the frame, taken along the line V-V of Figure 3.
FIG. 6 is a vertical section of the chassie, similar to that of FIG. 3 and showing the open part in an inclined position.
In these various figures, the same reference notations designate identical elements.
The frame shown comprises a window shelf 1 and a frame 2 composed of two side risers .-. Vertical 3 and 4 and a horizontal upper cross member 5.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
The shelf 1 and the frame 2 are fixed to a wall 6 in the anbrasenent of the frame.
The shelf 1 is forged, for example, from a metal profile generally made of a sheet steel pillce.
The uprights 3 and 4 and the sleeper 5 4u dormatn 2 are, for example, identical metal profiles which also each generally consist of one. steel roof bent otherwise. profiled place of the shelf 1 and the frame 2 are assembled by the ends of angle iron whose wings are respectively screwed, bolted or riveted or- * die to their very same.
The sliding frame comprises an opening part 7 and a remaining part 8. These two parts 1 and 8 of the chassie are movable * However, the opening part 7 is frequently moved in particular in order to be able to ventilate the room provided with said frame while that the remaining party * 8 is rarely displaced. Strictly speaking, this remaining part 8 can be fixed.
The opening part 7 is movable from a closed position in which it is located in the supply of the remaining part 8 until a fully open position in which it is placed behind this remaining part 8.
The opening part 7 consists of a frame
9 carrying for example a window 10 held by glazing slats 11. This opening part 7 has a groove in the lower cross member of its frame 9. This groove comes out to accommodate a lower longitudinal pad 12 on a material
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
hard synthetic such as that called * nylon **
The opening part 7 rests by its shoe 12, on a 'lower horizontal support 13 which * st constituted'. of a metal sheet having transverse ribs $
14 facing upwards.
Of the aort, the Opening part * '7 is movable by being able to slide, by sonatin 12, on the crests of said ribs 14 of the support 133 which ribs are substantially perpendicular to said pad.
The lower support 13 is fixed on the fanbase shelf 1 and waits between the uprights 3 and 4 of the sleeping 2.
In the closed position, the opening part 7 bears against the appropriate sealing @ 15. attached to the front edges of the riser 1. shelf. and and of the upper cross member of the frame 2, these and 4 of the upper cross member of the front frame being located outside the buildings
From this closed position visible in Figures 1 to 5, the opening part 7 can be moved in any way on the lower support. It can be brought into an intermediate position, for example parallel to the remaining part 8.
from where it can be 'slid behind it * The intermediate position can be that in which the two cross members of the frame 9 of the opening part 7 are respectively adjacent to the rear edge of the shelf 1 or to that of the support 13 and to the rear edge of the upper cross member of the frame.
It should be noted that the opening part 7 can be oblique with respect to the remaining part 8 when it is in its intermediate position considered above Thus, the opening part 7 can be released.
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
of its closed position by pivoting around certain particular fictitious axes *
The opening part 7 can pivot around a vertical axis located near the non-frame post 9 which is adjacent to the remaining part 8 or around a vertical axis located near the other post of its frame 9 which is Adjacent to post 3 of frame 2.
Furthermore, the opening part 7 can also pivot about a lower horizontal axis located near the cross member of its frame 9, which is adjacent to the eupport
13 or to the shelf 1 or around an upper horizontal axis located near the other cross member of its frame 9, which is adjacent to the upper cross member of the frame 2.
In its movement towards the rear or towards the interior of the building, the opening part 7 is stopped by rear stops which, in the example chosen, consist of a lower posterior slat 16 and a posterior slat upper 17. Lateral posterior stops may optionally be provided. The lower slat 16 is mounted in a removable manner on the rear edge of the shelf 1 while the upper slat
17 is placed in the same way on that of the upper cross member 5 of the frame 2.
Thus, in the aforementioned intermediate position, the opening part 7 abuts against the rear slats 16 and 17 *
From this intermediate position, the opening part 7 is brought into a fully open position by sliding on the aforesaid lower support 13 and being guided * inferiorly and superiorly, parallel to the part.
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
remaining 6.
Thus the lower cross member of the cedar 9 of the opening part 7 is guided by the lower rear slat 16 and by a lower guide 18 fixed to the support 13 while the upper cross member of said frame 9 is engaged between the upper rear slat 17 and a upper guide - 19 fixed to the upper cross member 5 of the frame 2.
In the fully open position, the or-. vrante 7 is placed just behind the remaining part 8 given that these two parts 7 and 8 have the same length in the case considered.
The remaining part 8 also comprises a frame 20 in which is arranged a window 21 held by glazing slats 22. Like the opening part 7, the remaining part 8 is supported on seals such as .. '15, fixed. to the shelf 1 and to the frame 2. In addition, it rests on the lower support 13 by a pad 23 similar to the aforementioned pad 12.
Generally, the remaining part 8 is immobilized in its closed position shown in the various figures, thanks to small bolts 24, the rods of which are engaged in corresponding cavities arranged respectively in the guides 18 and 19.
However, from this closed position, the remaining part can be brought into a fully open position by sliding in its plane, by its pad 23, on the support 13. This completely open position of the remaining part 8 practically corresponds to the closed position of the opening part 7.
It should be noted that this is held in its own closed position by locking gears 25.
