If the device is being read in the position of the excited relay and if the excitation is cut, the power supply to R3 is cut off by contact 13 of R2 but it remains powered by CP1 until the end of the turn and, when CP2 is closed, the rotaotor beats until the arm is brought back to stud 6 unless a fault is encountered by brus 3 on one of the intermediate studs P, If, in the position of R6 rail not excited, the device is reading a fault and if this R6 relay is energized, the device continues to read the fault until the end of the turn then, depending on whether the short -circuit 20 exists or not, then reads the previously checked with "Normal" or "Danger" or continues to read the fault until it disappears.
To read the speeds, the power switch of relay R7 is closed, which switches the power supply to amplifier A from fault piok-up wire 23 to speed piok-up wire 24, switching off the circuit. R4 and feeds R3. The device starts up and reads the speed corresponding to the position given to the piok-up arm by the speedometer until the contact of relay R7 is opened. To avoid stopping the device out of the normal position, it is possible either to supply R3 by the platform contact CP1, or to ensure the self-supply of the relay R7 by a circuit passing through the said contact CP1.

We could replace the polarization coil 56 with a permanent magnet. The relay R8 can also be supplied by a speed reading button 56, by a switch 59 closing when the dangerous speed is reached, by a contact 60 known as "limit speed" closing when the pre-set speed is reached or contact 61 which ensures continuous speed reading *
