Les relais<I>B</I> et<I>T</I> sont alors excités et les contacts au travail<I>t',</I> t2, t' et<I>b'</I> ,sont ouverts.
Electrical installation for remote control of an electric motor. The subject of the invention is an electrical installation for the remote control of an electric motor, characterized in that it comprises a transmitter station, in which a contactor allows the circuit to be closed of one or the other of two. actuation relay each comprising a main contact, a pulse emission contact and controlling a switch-off contact for the contactor circuit, the circuits of the actuating relays being controlled by a time switch and a receiving station,
in which the pulses are received by one or the other of two relays whose excitation closes the circuit of a motor with two directions of rotation to cause it to rotate in one direction or the other, the motor circuit being, on the other hand, controlled by a time switch.
The accompanying drawing, given by way of example only, represents one embodiment of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a diagram of an embodiment of a transmitting station; Fig. 2 is a diagram of one embodiment of a receiving station; Fig. 3 is a diagram of a variant of FIG. 1.
The transmitting station, shown in fig. 1, comprises a servomotor 6 with two windings 4 and 5 arranged so that the directions of rotation of the motor are opposite to one another depending on whether one or the other of these windings is traversed by the current . The servomotor shaft 9 carries three cams C ', C = and C' which respectively actuate contacts c ', c' and c 'during rotation of the motor 6.
On the other hand, a suitable measuring device, of the relay type, for example, is placed at the transmitter station, so that its mobile equipment drives, directly or by means of suitable devices, a member 1 which can come into contact with fixed pads 2 and 3 depending on its direction of movement.
Between the pads 2 and 8 and the windings 4 and 5 of the booster 6 is arranged a switching system such that the motor 6 rotates by an amplitude and in a direction determined depending on whether the member 1 comes into contact with one or more the other of pads 2 and 3, regardless of the duration of this contact. In addition, the switching device controls the emission of pulses of a determined nature depending on whether the organ 1 comes into contact with one or the other of the pads 2 and 3 and, consequently, whether the servomotor rotates in one way or the other.
The object of the invention is also to prevent any new operation of the servo motor placed at the receiving station as long as the function in progress has not ended.
The receiving station, shown schematically in FIG. 2, comprises a servo motor 16 with two windings 14 and 15 arranged so that the directions of rotation of the servomotor are opposite to each other depending on whether one or the other of these in bearings is traversed by the stream. The power supply to these windings is controlled by switches actuated by the emissions from the transmitter station, so that the rotation of the servomotor, placed at the receiver station, takes place in one direction or the other depending on the received pulse. the nature depends, as indicated above, on the direction of rotation of the servomotor placed at the transmitter station.
The shaft 20 of the servomotor 16 comprises three cams D ', D2 and D3 which actuate contacts d1, d2 and d3 respectively when the motor rotates. These contacts, in combination with the switching means indicated above, allow the motor to turn with a determined and constant amplitude.
Another object of the invention is to prevent any new operation of the servomotors placed at the transmitting station and at the receiving station as long as the operation in progress is not completely finished.
The operation of the transmitting station and that of the receiving station will now be described in more detail.
Assuming that the measuring device placed at the transmitting station is actuated so as to bring component 1 into contact with pin 2, a power supply circuit, for winding 4 of servomotor 6, is established by: posi tive pole of the source, contacts v ', b' and a1 at rest, device 1 in contact with pin 2, contact r 'at rest, winding of relay T, winding 4 and armature of servomotor 6, negative pole of the source . The motor 6 is rotated in the direction of the arrow f and the cams C2 and C3 close the contacts c2 and c3. A new supply circuit for winding 4 of servomotor 6 is established by: positive pole of the source, contact c3 on, contact t3 on, contact r 'at rest, winding of relay T, winding 4 and armature of the servo motor 6, negative pole of the source.
It can therefore be seen that, even if the contact between member 1 and pad 2 is broken, the motor continues to rotate as long as contact c3 is kept closed by cam C3.
Closing of contact c2 by cam C2 closes a power supply circuit for the winding of relay B via: positive pole of the source, contact c 'on, contact r' at rest, rewinding of relay B, pole negative of the source.
The relays <I> B </I> and <I> T </I> are then energized and the contacts at work <I> t ', </I> t2, t' and <I> b '</ I >, are open. It can be seen that the various circuits .d'out supplying the windings of the relays A and .B cannot be established and that, consequently, the winding 5 of the servomotor 6 cannot be supplied.
The energization of relays <I> T </I> and <I> B </I> closes a circuit for winding the relay <I> E fs </I> by positive pole of the source, contact v2 at rest, contacts b \ and t "at work, winding. of Efs, negative pole of the source.
The Efs relay is energized and sends an impulse, by all appropriate means, to the receiving station; by wire, wireless or by directed waves, this impulse having given characteristics.
The Efs relay, when energized, closes a maintenance circuit for itself by: positive pole of the source, contact v2 at rest, contact <I> efs </I> at work, contact t5 at work, in rotation of Efs, negative pole of the source, so that, when relay B is no longer energized, Efs remains energized and continues to send pulses until contact v2 opens,
as will be indicated later during the operation of the receiving station.
The servomotor 6 continuing to rotate, the cam C2 releases the contaet c2 which opens and cuts the supply circuit of the relay B and re-energizes it without causing disturbances in the operation of the device. The cam C3 releases, after a rotation of determined amplitude, one turn in the envi saged case, the contact c3 which opens, thus cutting off the supply circuit of the servomotor 6 and the whole of the device placed at the transmitter station. returns to idle following the de-energization of relay T.
Assuming that the motor 6 continues to rotate by inertia, for example, thus causing the closing, by the cams C3 and C1, of the contacts c3 and c1, we see that a power supply circuit for the rewinding of the re left A is established by: positive pole of the source, key contact at work, contact t4 at rest, winding of A, negative pole of the source. Relay A energizes and establishes a power supply circuit for winding 5 of servomotor 6 by: positive pole of the source, resistance 7, contacts r2 and t2 at rest, contact a2 on, winding 5 and armature da servomotor 6, negative pole of the source. Resistor 7 is chosen equal to that of each of the windings of relays T and R.
Motor 6 is driven in the opposite direction (that of arrow f and cams C3 and Cl release contacts c3 and c1 which open. The opening of c1 cuts off the supply circuit of the motor which stops in its rest position Assuming that it exceeds this position again, we see that the cam C2 would close the contact c2, the relay B would be energized, establishing a power supply circuit for the servomotor winding 4 6 which would tend, by a rotation in the direction of arrow f, to return to its rest position.
It will also be noted that, the apparatus being at rest, if the servomotor 6 is rotated by hand in one direction or in the other, it will be returned automatically to its rest position. The cams C2 and C3 are identical and a closing angle, which, for the moment, seems advantageous, is equal to approximately 45. The cams C1, C2 and C3 are wedged on the shaft 9 of the engine, so that the points of attack of the cams C1 and C2 are the same as well as those of the cams C2 and C3 depending on whether one turns in a one way or the other.
We will now describe the operation at the receiving station when transmissions have taken place and it will be assumed that these transmissions come from the excitation of the relay Efs placed at the transmitting station. These emissions picked up by any suitable means M excite the relay S by: positive pole of the source, M, winding of S, contact Uz at rest, negative pole of the source. S is energized and establishes a power supply circuit for the winding 14 of the servomotor 16 via: positive pole of the battery, contact s4 on, winding 14 and armature, of the servomotor 16, negative pole of the source.
The motor 16 is rotated in the direction of the arrow f and the cams Y and D close the contacts of 2, <I> due </I> and d "2. The closing of the contact d" 2 establishes a supply circuit for the transmitter device <I> E </I> f <I> v </I> which launches pulses, the purpose of which will be explained below.
The closing of the contact of establishes a new supply circuit for the winding of the relay S by: positive pole of the source, contact d3 on, contact s' on work, winding of S, contact u2 in rest, pole negative of the source, so that, even if the pulses cease, the relay S continues to be energized throughout the determined amplitude of the rotation of the motor corresponding to the angle @de. the cam D '. When the cam D 'releases the contact d ",
this, when opening, cuts the supply circuit of the winding of relay S, which de-energizes and opens, in s4, the supply circuit <B> of </B> flow 14 of the servo motor 16. This stops and the whole device comes to rest.
Assuming that the rotation of the motor in the direction of arrow f continues by inertia, for example, until driving the cams D1 and D3 to close the contacts of 1, d3 and d "1, we see that a The power supply circuit for the winding 15 of the motor 16 is established by: positive pole of the source, contact of 1 at work, contact s1 at rest, winding 15 and armature of the servomotor 16, negative pole of the battery. The motor 16 will rotate in the opposite direction to the arrow f and the cam D1 releasing the contact of 1, the latter will open and cut off the power supply to the motor 16, which will stop in the rest position.
It can also be seen that, if the motor 16 is made to turn by hand, for example, of an amplitude sufficient for one of the cells D1 or D 'to close its corresponding contact d1 or d2, the motor will be automatically returned to its rest position.
In addition, each time the motor rotates with sufficient amplitude for one of the cams D1 or D2 to close its corresponding contacts of 1, d "1 or ', d" 2, it is seen that the circuit of the device transmission Ef v closes and sends an impulse to the sending station.
The transmissions sent by the Efv device are received at the transmitting station and actuate, by any suitable means, the relay V which is energized and opens the contacts v1 and v2. The opening of these contacts prevents any new actuation of the device in the case where the booster 6 has returned to rest, the initial circuit for supplying the motor 6, via the member 1, being cut off. v1 and also prevents any emission by the Efs and Efu devices, the circuit of each of them being cut in v2.
In addition, the excitation of the relay V causes the closure of a contact v3 which establishes a supply circuit for a member 8 for controlling the operation of the receiving station, a lamp for example.
So that the emission device Ef v. placed at the transmitter station, is supplied during the entire duration of the operation of the engine, the cams D1 and D2 have a layout such that there is always at least one of the contacts d "1 and d 'which is closed while the contact d3 is working. The contacts d "'and dl' could be replaced by a single contact which would be actuated by cam D3, at the same time as contact d3, that is to say throughout the time of actuation of the motor of the receiving station.
It will be noted that the locking lock emissions acting on the relay V placed at the transmitting station can have the same characteristics as one of the Efs or Efu emissions of the transmitting station, it suffices to add on the circuits of the receiver relays V and S or V and U, as the case may be, of the corresponding locking contacts.
It will also be noted that, in all of the foregoing, the operation of the transmitting station and that of the receiving station has been described only in the case where the member 1 has come into contact with the pad 2, which has resulted in transmission by the device. Efs. It is obvious that the operation is repeated, in a similar way, in the case where the member 1 comes into contact with the stud 3.
Fig. 3 shows a diagram of a variant of the transmitting station relating specifically to relays R, and T. Each of these relays has two windings RY and R2 and T 'and T \, - in such a way that, if only one of these windings is energized, the relay does not work. Operation can only take place if the two windings of the same relay are supplied simultaneously, one RY at TY being in series with the circuit comprising the movable member 1, the other R2 or T2 being in series with the circuit. comprising in series the contact c '.
Assuming, for example, that 1 comes into contact with pad 2, it can be seen that the winding TY is supplied by the following circuit: positive pole of the source. contact v 'at rest. contacts a 'and V at rest, member 1 in contact with pad?, contact r' at rest, TY winding, winding 4 and armature; of the servo motor 6, negative pole of the battery. Motor 6 turns and cam C 'closes contact c' which establishes the following circuit for winding T2:
positive pole of the source, contact r 'at rest, T2 winding, negative pole of the battery. Both <I> T '</I> and T' windings are then energized and the relay can operate. The rest of the operation remains the same as in the case of FIG. 1. A similar operation occurs for the windings R1 and R2 when the component I comes into contact with the stud 3.
Resistor 7 is then chosen equal to that of each of the windings R1 and T1. It would also be possible, at the receiving station or at the transmitting station or both simultaneously, to control the shaft carrying the cams by means of appropriate reduction gears respectively driven by the servomotors 16 and 6 instead of wedging them on the shafts themselves. these servomotors. Likewise, the determined amplitude of rotation of the shafts carrying the cams could be equal to a fraction of a turn.
The servomotor 16, placed at the receiving station, also controls, either directly or by means of electrical contacts placed on the circuit of a servomotor or any other device, the device whose automatic remote operation is to be caused. . Thus, the transmitter station described previously being located, for example, at the point of the use of the electrical energy produced by a central station placed at the receiver station, if the measuring device actuating the member 1 is a wattmeter, one controls , by means of the servomotor 16 placed at the receiving station, therefore at the central unit, the servomotor which acts on the regulator of the turbine of the energy-producing turbo-alternator.
In this way, the quantity of energy produced will be constantly slaved to the needs of the use.
For this, the servomotor 16 controls. by a wheel and worm 35. the longitudinal displacement of two rubbers 36 and 37 which rest on the periphery of the drums. These drums 27, 28 and 29 are wedged angularly on a shaft 38, but can move longitudinally on this shaft 38, either manually by means of any suitable devices, or by means of a cam 33 secured angularly and axially ( the shaft 38 which is constantly supported on a fixed stop 39 under the action of a spring 40. All of these drums are rotated by means of a timer 32.
The drums 27, 28 and 29 are electrically insulated from each other; in addition, the conductor drums 28 and 29 are separated by an insulating drum 34 of a certain height determined in advance, as will be explained below. Sliders 41, 42 and 43 are supported respectively on each of the drums 27, 28 and 29.
The: wipers 42 and .13 are connected to the coils 44 and 45 for controlling an inverter 30, the wiper 41 is connected to the terminals of the variable speed motor 46 which controls a pulse emitter 31 on which relies two rubbers 47 and 48, one of which is connected to. one of the poles of a power source and the other at. the moving part of the inverter.
The servomotor 16 drives the screw 35 in rotation; the contacts 36 and 37 are moved in one direction or the other depending on the direction of rotation of the screw. It will be assumed that the rubbers have been moved to the right by a sufficient quantity, corresponding to a certain number of pulses, so that the friction device 37 comes into contact with the drum 29.
The width of the insulating drum is determined so that the number of pulses necessary to bring the wiper 3.7 into contact with one of the. tam stock 28 or 29, corresponds to a certain variation of the load below which it is not desirable to act on the regulators of the turboalternators. The wiper 37 having come into contact with the drum 29, a circuit is closed for the winding 44 of the spout 30 by: wiper 37, drum 29, scrubber 43, winding 44, earth.
The inverter 30 establishes contact with one of the pads 47 or 48 placed on the control circuit of the servo motor used for. turbine regulation. The slider 36 has also moved to the right and the resistance of the drum 27, comprised between the sliders 36 and 41, has increased, resulting in a drop in speed for the motor 46 and the pulse generator 31. in the process of pulses of a certain duration. If we have. a further displacement of the slider 36 to the right, the resistance increases, the speed of the motor 46 decreases and the duration of the pulses increases, which results in a more extensive action of the control servomotor.
The resistant drum 27 can be constructed in different ways with the aim of switching on a resistance during the movements of the wiper 36. Thus, for example, a resistant wire is wound around the periphery of the drum in the same way. known, or again, the periphery of the drum is formed by a thin and very strong blade on which the rubbers rest, or the drum is formed of a superposition, along the axis, of alternately insulating discs and conductors, the conductive discs being connected in series, with interposition between any two adjacent discs of a resistor.
The longitudinal and angular displacement of all of the drums 27, 28 and 29, as well as the transverse displacement of the rubbers 41, 42 and 43, is intended to compensate for the load variations known in advance at least approximately. For this, the cam 33 is plotted according to the average diagram of the loads at the transmitting station at each time of the day and the automatic regulation is made from the values of this diagram increased or decreased by an arbitrary value depending on the height given to the insulating drum 34. The drum can also be moved in manual translation, by means of any suitable devices, these means being used alone or in combination with the automatic means indicated above.
It can easily be seen that the present invention applies to the case where there exist either several transmitting stations, or several receiving stations, or several transmitting and receiving stations operating simultaneously, the receiving station or stations then obeying the transmissions of the stations placed. at the places of distribution.
Likewise, the adjustment device can act to adjust all other characteristics of the current, for example its frequency; in this case, the measuring device 1 placed at the transmitting station is controlled by a frequency meter instead of a wattmeter and the suitable reception devices placed at the receiving station are such that they act to modify the frequency of the current produced .
