Si on le désire, les compositions insecticides suivant l'invention peuvent contenir, outre le N-propargylcarbamate d'alpha- naphtyle, d'autres produits chimiques pour l'agriculture comme des herbicides, des fongicides, des pesticides, des agents réglant la croissance des plantes, etc. Suivant une forme de réalisation de l'invention, le N-propargylcarbamate d'alpha-naphtyle est mélangé avec d'autres insecticides comme le DDT, le BHC ou le Sévin et/ou avec des fongicides comme l'oxychlorure de cuivre, les sels de l'acide éthylène 1;2-bis-dithiocarbamique ou le thiurame.

Les exemples suivants illustrent l'invention. Sauf indica- tion contraire, les parties et pourcentages sont donnés en poids.
EXEMPLE 1. -
A une dispersion bien agitée de 12 parties d'oxalate de propargylamine dans 75 parties d'éther diéthylique, on ajoute 70 parties d'une solution aqueuse à 20 d'hydroxyde de sodium. Après agitation pendant encore 5 minutes, le mélange est r efroidi au bain de glace. En 15 minutes, on ajoute lentement 15 parties de chloro- formiate d'alpha-naphtyle dans 25 parties d'éther diéthylique et on poursuit l'agitation pendant encore 15 minutes. La couohe éthérés est séparée, séché* sur sulfate de sodium et évaporée sous pression réduite pour donner une huile qui se solidifie partiellement par refroidissement.
Le produit brut contenant le N-propargylcarbamate d'alpha-naphtyle est recristallisé dans un mélange benzène/éther de pétrole 60-80*C pour donner des cristaux fondant à 76 C.
Trouvé : C, 74,4; H, 5,0; H, 6,40
Calculé pour C14H11NO2 : 0, 74,65; H, 4,92; N, 6,22%.
EXEMPLE 2.-
A une dispersion bien agitée de 13 parties de propargyl- amine dans 80 parties de tétrachlorure de carbone, on ajoute 80 parties d'une solution aqueuse à 20 d'hydroxyde de sodium. Après agitation pendant encore 5 minutes, le mélange est refroidi au bain de glace. En 15 minutes, on ajoute lentement 30 parties de chloro- formiate d'alpha-naphtyle dans 50 parties de tétrachlorure de car- bone et on poursuit l'agitation pendant encore 15 minutes. La cou- che de tétrachlorure de carbone est séparée et traitée comme dans l'exemple 1 pour donner du N-propargylcarbamate d'alpha-naphtyle cristallisé.
EXEMPLE 3. -
