  On connait des procédés d'après lesquels, entre deux objets thermoplastiques à unir par soudure,de la chaleur est pro- voquée au moyen d'uh courant à travers des résistances in- tercalées,ce qui a pour effet de souder ces objets.      



  Le conducteur chauffant et le procédé suivant l'invention sont cependant caractérisés en ce que,par exemple,des pièces de raccordement de tubes par ex.en polyéthylène, peuvent être soudés de façon simple et sûre pour les dia- mètres de tubes les plus divers(par ex.entre 1/2" - 2") avec le même voltage, dans le même temps de soudage,par ex. par une batterie de 12 volts.Les conducteurs chauffants sont construits de telle façon que,grâce à leur chaleur   spécifique,leur   résistance électrique spécifique,leur section,leur longueur et surtout leur disposition,ils don- nent chaque fois, avec une tension de 12 volts, dans le même temps,pour des diamètres de tubes ou d'armatures les plus divers, la chaleur qu'il faut pour la dimension du tube, avec la même température de soudure, d'après la valeur red.

  Grâce à l'emploi de courant faible,il est possible de prélever le courant de chauffage nécessaire d'une batterie transportable ou d'un accumulateur, de sorte que la soudure peut se faire indépendamment d'un raccordement au réseau par ex.sur des chantiers ou en cas de placements de tuyaute- ries à l'extérieur.Il est naturellement possible également de procéder à la soudure hors du réseau,avec un transforma- teur ad équat qui possède un règlage de temps de soudage. 



  Il est alors, particulièrement indiqué que,conformément à la construction du conducteur chauffant,d'après l'invention, les divers diamètres de tuyaux puissent être soudés en main- tenant un temps de soudage- uniforme.On peut cependant aussi employer avantageusement un montage de soudage muni d'un réglage de temps de soudage automatique,par ex.un interrupteur commandé par une minuterie etc.la procédure de soudage est ainsi à l'abri de fausses manoeuvres,car le soudeur ne peut commettre d'erreurs risquant de brûler le conducteur chauffant de provoquer un assemblage par soudure défectueux,une forma- tion de   can@ux,et   similaires.

   Les diverses largeurs de tuyaux qui sont réunis en groupes de même résistance, dépendant natu- rellement essentiellement des exigences pratiques, de sorte que par ex.les dimensions de tubes qui sont nécessaires dans la construction de conduites d'eau(1/2" à 2") y compris les rac- cordements aux maisons,tombent dans un groupe et que l'on puis- se toujours employer un même temps de soudage pour les dimen- sions en question. 



  Comme on ne peut compenser sans plus par des fils les différen- ces dans les résistances 'thermiques et que ces fils ont en outre le désavantage d'être flexibles,on propose encore,sui- vant l'invention,d'employer comme conducteurs chauffants,des feuilles d'aluminium,dont les mesures quant à la largeur et l'épaisseur,sont variables dans une large mesure. 



  Il est tout spécialement avantageux de fixer au préalable les conducteurs chauffants qui consistent en fils ou en feuilles, sous forme d'une douille qui,lors de la procédure d'injection

 est tirée sur le noyau de la pièce de raccordement du tuyau et se combine,après l'injection,d'une façon homogène,avec   l'armature.Le   placement d'une telle douille sur l'extrémité du tuyau,qui est glissée par après dans une pièce de raccor- dement de   tuyau,n'est   pas recommandé,car pour ceo,les tolé- rances devraient être trop grandes. 



  Le placement de la douille sur le noyau occasionne diverses   difficultés.Le   procédé d'après l'invention est en outre ca- ractérisé par le fait que les moules d'injection sont cons-

   Revendications du brevet

Claims (1)

  1. I.- Procédé pour confectionner des joints soudés de matières synthétiques thermo-plastiques,spécialement des tubes en matières synthétiques,diaprés la demande de brevet K 28 606 X 59a,clu 16.4-.1956,caractérisé par le fait que les éléments fournissant la chaleur,sont raccordés dans un circuit de faible courant électrique,au moment d'une amenée,qui est prévue pour une certaine tension de courant et un certain temps de soudage,et que les conducteurs thermiques pour divers diamètres de tuyaux,éventuellement,par groupes,ont une résistance thermique proportionnelle;
    2. - Procédé d'après la revendication I,caractérisé par le fait qu'on emploie un montage de soudage qui est pourvu <Desc/Clms Page number 4> d'un réglage du temps de soudage automatique,réglable éventuellement par groupes,ainsi qu'éventuellement avec des dispositifs pour le réglage du montage de soudage sur des forces et des tensions de courant diverses.
    3.- Conducteur chauffant pour éxécuter le procédé d'après les revendications I et 2,caractérisé en ce que,par rapport. à sa section et au matériel employé,il soit réglé de telle façon que les différentes longueurs de conducteurs chauffants dépendant de la dimension du tuyau,ainsi que d'autres lecteurs dépendant de la dimension du tuyau,soient compensés en ce qui concerne les différences de la valeur thermique.
    4.- Conducteur chauffant,d'après la revendication 3,caracté- risé en ce que tout au moins les filetages extérieurs sont disposés sur une périphérie.
    5. - Conducteur chauffant d'après les revendications 3 et 4, caractérisé en ce que tous les filetages sont disposée sur la périphérie,parallèlement les uns par rapport aux autres, et que ne sont prévues que de courtes amenées en direction axiale.
    6.- Conducteur chauffant d'après les revendications 3 à 5 caractérisé en ce que les amenées axiales sont disposées de façon à pouvoir être échangées entre elles.
    7. - Conducteur chauffant d'après les revendications 3 à 6 caractérisé en ce que les filetages sont disposés en forme de méandre.
    8.- coules pour injection pour pièces de raccordement de tuyaux caractérisés en ce que le noyau des moules puisse être placé, de façon détachée, dans le moule,afin de pouvoir être enlevé avec la pièce injectée hors du moule et de re- @roidir en dehors du moule,tandis qu'on injecte,entre-temps, pendant le procédé de refroidissement,un deuxième ou un troisième noyau.
