<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

The present invention relates to a novel rolling machine for long breads also suitable for rolling pies, puff pastry, brioches and other similar products.
The machine, object of the invention, will be described below with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawing.
It essentially consists of two metal cylinders, one of large diameter and the other of small diameter, the second in place bant the first, the said cylinders being mounted by their axes on two side flanges.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The large cylinder is surrounded except for its upper part and at a certain distance from it by a mat of rubber or other suitable material, such as a canvas or other material provided with springs so as to imitate the working of rubber, supported by two metal hoops each elastically arranged on one of the internal faces of the flanges; the rubber mat can come closer to or away from the surface of the large cylinder by spreading the supporting hoops apart. can move in particular by means of a connecting rod device described below. The rubber mat can be protected by an external mesh.
The small cylinder which overhangs the large cylinder can approach or move away from it, for example by means of a pos- device. lies' and levers arranged on the outer part of each 'flange and which will be described later .. -'.
Between the two rolls therefore reigns a variable interval in which the dough to be treated is brought, which after rolling between them. This enters the rear of the machine into the gap between the rubber mat and the large cylinder where it is rolled into a strand.
'After having' traversed the perimeter of the large cylinder, thanks to the rotation of the latter, the paste comes out through the front end of the interval rubber mat, large cylinder, where it is collected without any other instrument on a receptacle-appropriate.
.; Figure 1 of the drawing shows a longitudinal view of the rolling machine;
The figure shows a view of the external face of the left blank (looking at the machine from the front), showing the drive device for the large cylinder as well as part of the device for the small cylinder and the mode of training thereof.
', Figure 3 shows a view of the outer face of the right flange (looking at the machine faceup), showing the other part of the device for varying the spacing between the two displacements *.
