Description

  Caisse d'emballage.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   Fig. 2 représente la ceinture,
Fig. 2a représente le couvercle, et
Fig. 2b représente le fond de la caisse.

  Packing box.

   The object of the present invention is to provide an airtight packaging box capable of containing heavy loads.

   It is common practice to make boxes composed of a belt, a glued or sewn bottom and a cover fitted on the upper part of the belt.

   The box which is the subject of the present invention has been designed to obviate the drawback offered by the use of the usual box with base and cover, a drawback which consists in that the base and lid do not have resistance to pressure. thrust of the contents than the resistance offered by the gluing or stapling with which these bottom and cover are fixed on the belt.

   , The case which is the subject of the present invention overcomes this drawback.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   The invention essentially consists of a box formed of three parts, in particular a bottom, a cover, both provided with lugs, and a belt with rebats which, when the box is assembled, cover the lugs of the bottom and the lid, dimensions of the bottom and of the cover being such that these bottom and cover can slip inside said belt.

   The bottom and the cover can, if necessary, be coated with glue before being put in place; for this we will be guided by the fact that the capacity of the box supports them or not in place.

   'The flaps of the traced and notched belt are folded over the tabs of the bottom and cover. They are held in place either by light stapling, or by gluing, or simply by clamping, or by inserting a sheet of cardboard which holds the belt flaps in place in the hollow space reserved for the two ends of the body. .

   The present invention allows the realization of a more solid body, which. or at the same time economical (cardboard area necessary for its very reduced preparation) lvrable flat at the user and easy assembly.

   Figs. 1, 2, 2a, 2b and 3 of the accompanying drawings show one embodiment of the present invention.

   Fig. 1 shows the belt with the cover in place. The part surrounded by a circle is shown on a larger scale in Fig. 3.

   Fig. 2 represents the belt,
Fig. 2a represents the cover, and
Fig. 2b represents the bottom of the box.

   Referring to ayx drawings, 1 represents the belt provided with flaps 2. The number 3 (fig. 1, 2a) represents the cover provided with tabs 4 (fig.2a). The number 6 represents the bottom of the box provided with legs 7.

   When the box is assembled, the flaps 2 of the belt cover the tabs 4 of the cover 3 as shown in fig. 3.

   5 is a belt reinforcement tape.
