<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
circulaire ± le traversant de part en part , ledit sachet étant aplati; la figure 2 schématise le même sachetouvert et on remarque que l'orifice se reproduit sur les deux faces, res- pectivement antérieure et postérieure; la figure 3 schématise en élévation un autre type de sac ou sachet 3 comportant un orifice polygonal 4;
Selon l'invention on résli-

Improvements to sachets and similar packaging for automatic bagging.
The invention relates to packaging more especially of the bag and sachet type, and more especially still to bags or sachets made of paper, treated paper, metallic or metallized paper, plastic material and, more generally, synthetic material, and bags or sachets. sachets comprising several plies combining said usual materials.
The aim of the invention is to condition this type of packaging with a view to facilitating, respectively to accelerate and better adjust, the routing of the bags and sachets and packaging! similar such as pouches, envelopes, cases and the like in the feed mechanisms of automatic or semi-automatic bagging machines.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
We know that it is of the utmost importance, in order to achieve an acceptable performance of the automatic machines used for filling bags and sachets, that they be correctly guided and conveyed in the correct position to the loading mechanism, otherwise, the sachets being badly placed under the metering spillway, lead to jams or other false maneuvers immobilizing the machine for a period of time all the greater as the sachet and the goods clutter and obstruct the magazine or the routing passage of the machine . It is necessary to proceed to the removal of the bag and the material spilled in the mechanisms and rule? again the flow of the bags, all work requiring some work and immobilizing the machine.
According to the invention, all these drawbacks are systematically eliminated by guaranteeing all the bags or sachets a strictly correct position and routing to the loading mechanism in practically perfect conditions, the sachets being, at all times, positively guided and supported in identical conditions for each of them. The means, object of the invention, is both excessively simple and has the advantage of correction and regularity pr & tlqt. perfect fit for mechanical work.
This means consists in providing the bags or bags with at least one orifice passing right through them, all of them, for a given batch, at exactly the same location, the orifice (s) having exactly the same shape and the same dimensions. .
The bags or sachets in accordance with the invention are therefore essentially characterized in that they comprise at least one orifice passing right through them, towards their upper edge at a place located above the level provided for the so-called packaged market, respectively bagged.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
By orifice passing through the bag or sachet right through, it should be understood that the orifice or orifices are made in the bag or sachet as it comes out of the workshop, that is to say flattened. As a result, the orifice (s) are made, at a time, in all the layers of paper or other superimposed material when the bag or sachet is flattened. In fact therefore, for an orifice passing right through a bag, said bag comprises ------- a number of orifices double the number of folds or thicknesses of material in the wall.
Obviously, all these orifices must be perfectly superimposed when the bag is flattened, that is to say when it is empty in the form it presents from the workshop.
These orifices can be made after the making of the bags or sachets. But, according to a feature of the invention, these orifices will preferably be made during the making of the bag or sachet. It follows that this perforation, single or multiple, can be performed mechanically with great precision and in a practically identical manner for all the bags or seals intended for the same bagging, that is to say for the same passage on the automatic machine. bagging machine.
Depending on whether the feeder of the automatic packaging machine requires or comprises one or more guide rods, the bags or sachets have one or more orifices.
The shape and dimensions of said orifices are essentially variable and, of course, determined in accordance with the section of the rods passed through them.
By way of example, without any limiting nature whatsoever, certain embodiments are shown diagrammatically in the accompanying drawings, in which FIG. 1 is an elevational view of a sachet with an ordinary bottom. This sachet I comprises, according to the invention, an orifice
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
circular ± passing through it right through, said bag being flattened; FIG. 2 is a diagram of the same open sachet and it can be seen that the orifice is reproduced on both sides, anterior and posterior respectively; FIG. 3 shows schematically in elevation another type of bag or sachet 3 comprising a polygonal orifice 4;
Figure 4 shows schematically another type of bag still having two guide holes 5-6, the locations, shape and dimensions of which will be judiciously determined in proportion to the feed mechanism of the automatic bagging machine) Figure 5 is a view in elevation of a bag
7 having an upper oblong window ± whose particular shape is also determined by the particular section of the guide rod of the feeding mechanism of the bagging machine.
We will thus be able to apply the improvements, objects of the invention, in infinitely variable forms since it is necessary, but it is sufficient, that the bag or sachet or ana- lo-gue packaging comprises, towards its upper edge, at least an orifice passing right through it and this orifice must be of a size and dimensions established in proportion to the section and transverse dimensions of the guide or support rod (s) of the feed mechanism a machine allowing the filling of said packaging.
By orifice passing through the packaging right through, it is necessary to understand such an orifice when the sachet is closed or flattened.
FIG. 6 is a schematic perspective view of a batch of such sachets packaged in accordance with this. invention and supported by a guide rod 9 of a bagging machine.
The mechanization, advancement, selection and opening of sahets will be of any type. According to the invention,
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
is in the technique of manufacturing packaging such as bags, sachets, pouches, envelopes, etc ... improvements such as said packaging, unlike the known technique, can be positively maintained and guided in any bagging machine or wrapper comprising at least at least one guide rod capable of passing right through said packaging.
