Description

Dans une autre configuration, les sachets 1 présentent un nombre de plisThe invention relates to a sachet for coffee powder or a similar product, comprising two side faces made of a material permeable to liquids, in particular filter paper, the sachet being closed and adapted to be placed on a filter holder, while it contains a predetermined quantity of coffee powder or a similar product. The invention also relates to a method and an installation for producing such a sachet. The invention is more particularly suitable for filter holders of coffee makers commonly sold to the general public. It is difficult to make a precise dosage of coffee powder with this type of filter holder. Indeed, depending on the variety and quality of coffee, depending on the type of filter and / or coffee maker, the weight and / or volume of coffee to put in the filter varies. Thus the same person has trouble reproducing, identically, the dosage of his favorite coffee. In addition, when filling the filter in place on the filter holder, it happens that coffee is spilled and / or passes between the filter and the filter holder. FR-A-2 686 495 discloses a package for ground coffee formed by a closed bag made of filter paper. This bag, of generally rectangular shape, is provided with a precut line facilitating its opening. Alternatively, this bag may have a beveled bottom. EP-A-0 460 383 also discloses a closed filter paper sachet containing coffee. This bag is surrounded by a veil fixed on both sides. On each side of the bag, the veil forms foldable handles which, when pushed back towards the other, cause the veil to spread. This device is intended to be placed on a cup. If such sachets make it possible to obtain a predefined quantity of coffee, they are not suitable for use in any type of filter holder. Their shape and dimensions prevent such bags, once opened, from occupying, optimally, the interior of a filter holder, in the manner of a conventional filter. It is to these drawbacks that the invention more particularly intends to remedy by proposing a sachet made of a filtering material and containing coffee, or a similar product, in a predosed amount which is easily adaptable to different types of filter holder. To this end, the subject of the invention is a sachet of the aforementioned type, characterized in that the lateral faces are connected by at least one bellows adapted to allow the mutual separation of the lateral faces when the sachet is opened, the latter having then a shape allowing it to be supported on the internal face of a filter holder. Thanks to the invention, a bag is produced which, when opened, has its walls which move away from each other by opening the bellows, in the manner of a corolla and takes the form, generally conical or frustoconical, of the filter holder which receives it. A sachet is thus obtained, which, once opened, is well suited to the filter holder which receives it in a manner quite similar to a conventional filter. According to advantageous but not compulsory aspects of the invention, the sachet incorporates one or more of the following characteristics: - The side faces are formed in two sails, each of the sails having, substantially in the middle position, several fold lines defining a bellows, the latter forming a connection zone between the side faces. - The bellows extends substantially over the entire height of the bag. - The bag has, before opening, a generally rectangular shape. As a variant, it has, before opening, a generally trapezoidal shape. - The bag includes, on at least one side, generally perpendicular to its height, a zone of structural weakness adapted to facilitate, over the entire length of the side, the opening of the bag. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a sachet as described above, this method comprising steps consisting in: a) folding, continuously, a strip of porous and liquid-permeable material, in particular filter paper , so as to form two sails, - b) join, continuously, the free sides of the two sails, - c) form at least one bellows, on at least one of the sails, - d) join the two sails in a generally direction perpendicular to the direction of advance of the strip of filter paper so as to form the bottom of a sachet, - e) fill the sachet thus formed with a predefined quantity of coffee powder or of similar product, - f) close the sachet at the level of a closing area adjoining the junction area of the sails of an adjacent sachet. This method is characterized in that during step c), the bellows is formed to allow mutual separation of the faces when the sachet is open and so that the latter has a shape allowing it to be supported on the face internal of the filter holder. The invention will be better understood and other advantages thereof will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows of an embodiment of a sachet in accordance with the invention, of a production installation and of a process for manufacturing this sachet, given solely by way of example and made with reference to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a sachet according to the invention in closed configuration, - Figure 1A is a section along the plane 1A in Figure 1, the bag being shown empty, - Figure 2 is a perspective view of the bag of Figure 1 in the open configuration, - Figure 3 is a perspective view of the bag of Figure 2 in place in a filter holder, - Figure 4 is a schematic representation of an installation for producing the bag according to the invention and, - Figure 5 is a section along the plane V in Figure 4. Bag 1 shown in Figure 1 e st made of a filter material permeable to liquids, especially water. This material is for example nonwoven or a filter based on cellulosic or synthetic fibers. This bag 1 has, in closed configuration, generally the shape of a parallelepiped and, advantageously, of a rectangular parallelepiped. In a variant not shown, the bag 1 has, before opening, a generally trapezoidal shape. The bag 1 comprises two lateral faces 2 and 3, visible in particular in FIGS. 1A and 2, connected by their respective sides, so as to define the volume of the bag. Advantageously, these faces are located on two webs 20, 30 obtained by folding a sheet of filtering material along a fold line 4. These webs 20, 30 are joined by their respective sides opposite to the fold line 4 The junction between the sails is made by welding, heat sealing or gluing at a junction area 5. These sails 20, 30, visible in particular in FIGS. 1A and 2, are arranged so that, each one, defines overall a half face of each face 2 and 3. The largest dimension of the bag 1, in this case its height H, is parallel to the two zones 4 and 5 of the sails 20 and 30. The zone 4 is not very marked, so that , when the webs 20, 30 are united, it is easy to position the zone 4 generally in the central position on the face 2, the zone 5 being generally in the central position on the face 3. Thus, the longitudinal edges 6, 7 of the sachet which are generally parallel to zones 4 and 5. Sachet 1 has two transverse edges 8, 9 generally perpendicular to the edges 6 and 7. These edges form the bottom 8 and the top 9 of the bag and are produced by welding, bonding or heat-sealing the faces 2, 3. The bottom 8 and the top 9 define between them the height H. On each of the edges 6, 7 of the bag 1, seven fold lines or folds 10 are formed. These folds 10 are formed over the entire height H available between the bottom 8 and top 9 of the bag 1. The folds 10 extend alternately towards the inside and the outside of the bag 1 so as to constitute, on each edge 6, 7 of the bag, a bellows 100. The bottom 8, top 9 and height H define, with the bellows 100, the useful volume of the bag 11. Thus, thanks to the bellows 100, the volume of the bag 1 is allowed to adapt to the desired quantity of coffee stored in the bag and / or the various types of filter holder. In practice, the number of folds 10 in each bellows 100 is chosen to be greater than two, preferably between three and eleven. The top 9 of the bag 1 corresponds to the region where the opening of the bag takes place. To facilitate this opening, the top 9 has a structural weakness. This structural weakness is obtained, for example by a junction surface between the faces 2, 3 smaller than for the bottom, by a notch on one of the sides favoring the initiation of the tear or by a line of weakness as shown in Figure 1 with reference 9a. Thus the total opening of the bag from this side is facilitated. When the bag 1 is open, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the bellows 100 tends to unfold, under the effect of the weight of the coffee and of gravity. Thus, the two faces 2, 3 of the bag 1 move away from each other respectively in the directions represented by the arrows Fi and F 2 . The bag 1 opens like a corolla. If, as illustrated in FIG. 3, prior to the opening of the bag, the latter is placed in a filter holder 11, the bottom 8 of the bag being oriented towards the bottom of the filter holder, that is to say in the species towards its narrowest part, faces 2, 3 move apart until they come into contact with the internal wall 12 of the filter holder 11. In this configuration, the bellows 100 of the bag 1 are more open on the top side 9 of the bag 1, than when the bag is closed. The bag thus takes the form of the filter holder 11, in the manner of a conventional filter. The initial dimensions of the bag 1 and the number of folds defining each bellows 100, make it possible to preserve, as illustrated in FIG. 3, a series of spaces between the webs 20, 30 of the bag 1 and the internal wall 12 of the filter holder. These spaces facilitate the adaptation of the bag 1 on the filter holder 11. Such a filter can be used in any type of filter holder 11 usually encountered, whether it is the filter holder of an electric coffee maker or a filter holder for “manual” preparation. " Coffee. The material used to make such a bag is flexible enough that it can be placed in a filter holder of generally conical or frustoconical shape, or even in a filter holder of parallelepiped shape. The dimensions of a sachet 1 depend on the quantity of coffee that one wishes to enclose in the latter. This quantity is calculated according to the number of cups desired for a variety and / or strength of coffee desired. Such a sachet can also be filled with another product instead of coffee, it may especially be chicory or any other powdered product suitable for preparing a drink by percolation or leaching. The invention also relates to a method and an installation for manufacturing such a sachet easily and continuously. In the installation, illustrated in FIG. 4, a strip 13 of filter paper is unrolled continuously, this strip is folded back on itself in two equal parts perpendicular to the width, that is to say along a fold line 4 generally parallel to the direction of travel D of the strip 13. The folding and shaping of the strip 13 is formed around a tubular element 14 shown diagrammatically in FIG. 5, one end of which is in the form of a hopper or funnel 15. The free edges of the strip, parallel to the direction of travel D, are joined for example by gluing, welding or heat sealing. The webs 20, 30 thus formed of the bag are each defined by a half width of the strip 13 extending between the fold line 4 and the junction line 5 formed previously. For clarity of the drawing, the means of joining the webs 20, 30 have not been shown in FIG. 4. On the outside of the tube 14, and in the vicinity of the end opposite to a feed funnel 15, several sets of discs or rollers 16 are arranged. In a set, the rollers 16 are distributed in pairs and diametrically opposite with respect to the axis AA 'of the tube 14. These pairs are arranged in a direction generally parallel to the longitudinal axis AA' of the tube 14. Three sets of superimposed rollers 16, visible in FIG. 5, are partially inserted in notches 17 formed in the external wall 40 of the tube 14. These notches 17, of shape complementary to those of the rollers 16, make it possible to provide a space between the wall of the notch 17 and the roller 16. This space is occupied by the sails 20, 30 joined together. Thus, the notches 17 and the rollers 16, by their dimensions and their number, define the path of the material forming the webs 20, 30 of the bag, path necessary for the formation of the inside folds 10, outgoing folds being defined between two adjacent inside folds. The incoming folds 10 and the outgoing folds form at least one bellows (100) allowing, when the bag is open, the mutual separation of the faces (2,3). Thus, the bag opens into a "corolla" and it has, open, a shape allowing it to be supported on the internal face of the filter holder. The rollers 16 are movable radially so as to be able to form re-entrant folds 10 of variable depth and thus sachets of variable volume. Following the rollers 16, a device 19, known per se, for bonding, welding or heat sealing connects over their entire width the faces 2 and 3 over an area sufficient to form on the one hand, the bottom 8 of the bag 1 and , on the other hand seal the top 9 of the anterior bag. When a bag 1 has its bottom 8 formed, the desired quantity of coffee is introduced through the central lumen 18 of the tube 14. The introduction of coffee is facilitated by the funnel 15. This filling is advantageously carried out by a metering device automatic not shown. Once the dose of coffee has been introduced into the sachet 1, the latter is closed by gluing, by welding or heat-sealing. In the embodiment shown, the closure zone is then cut in a direction generally parallel to its largest dimension. The cutting is advantageously carried out by the device 19 for bonding or welding. In another embodiment not shown, the sachets 1, after closing, are not separated from each other. They are wrapped and packaged in the form of "ribbons" made up of a certain number of sachets. This number of sachets can correspond to the sachets necessary for the preparation of coffee for a given period. The sachets 1 are then directed by means not shown to a packaging area. In another configuration, the bags 1 have a number of folds
10 different from those mentioned, in particular to adapt to other sizes of filter holder than those described. In this case, the number and arrangement of the means for forming the pleats are adapted. It is also possible to vary the dimensions of the bag, in particular its height H, to adapt to other filter holders than those described. As a variant, the rollers 16 can be replaced, at least partially, by guides, in particular rods or rails, cooperating with notches of complementary shape. In another embodiment, the bag 1 has a bellows generally perpendicular to the folds 10, located for example in the vicinity of the bottom 8, which makes it possible to increase the volume of the bag and especially the filtration surface. As a variant, in the vicinity of the top 9 of the bag 1, gripping members of the bag can be provided, for example tongues or a wire inserted between the two webs, in order to handle the bag hygienically.
