   Parmi les nombreux avantages du matériau en cause, il y a lieu de citer notamment: la solidité éprouvée; l'isolation parfaite et continue des parois intérieures de l'édifice; cette isolation du point de vue thermique,voire acoustique,   n'est, sans contredit, jamais égalée ; possibilité de ré-   duire l'épaisseur des parois à édifier et celle de réaliser, par l'emploi de ces briques, des murs comprenant des colonnes d'air multiples, second isolant majeur des murs bâtis;

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   Une forme d'exécution, donnée à simple titre d'éxemple non limitatif, est représentée aux dessins annexés, dans lesquels ;

  Vibrated concrete block with insulating coating
The present invention relates to hollow blocks, in vibrated concrete, characterized in that the rear face of these blocks is coated with an insulation, consisting of cork, multicellular concrete or any other insulation, and forming part of the block.

   Among the many advantages of the material in question, the following should be mentioned in particular: proven strength; the perfect and continuous insulation of the interior walls of the building; this insulation from a thermal point of view, even acoustically, is, without a doubt, never equaled; possibility of reducing the thickness of the walls to be built and that of creating, by using these bricks, walls comprising multiple air columns, the second major insulator of the built walls;

 economic implementation etc ...

   The strength of the walls or walls built using this material is reinforced by the installation of a vertical reinforcement in some of the conduits formed by the superposition of the cavities of the blocks, and the filling of said conduits with reinforced concrete; in this way, all the hollow blocks, constituting the wall or the wall, are joined together, and the whole cons. titute a monolith of very great solidity.

   In principle, the hollow block forming the subject of the present invention has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped, pierced with three cavities, 2 rounds separated by a rectangular; the rear face of this block is made up of an insulator integral with the mass of the block.

   These blocks are vibrated in standardized dimensions, the double groove of their header increases their catching surface and, by their staggered arrangement, the cavities of the blocks are superimposed and constitute as many columns of air, a natural insulating element to be avoided. not to disdain, some of these vertical conduits are provided with a metal frame and filled with reinforced concrete, to make one piece.

   One embodiment, given by way of non-limiting example, is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which;
Fig. 1 is a view of a hollow block with an insulating coating, and FIG. 2 is a cross section taken along the line II-II of FIG. 1.

   Block 1, in vibrated concrete, bears, on one of its large lateral faces, a thick and insulating layer (cork, multicellular concrete or any other insulating material) forming a mass with the body of the block; is pierced, in the direction of the height, of two round cavities 3 and 3 'and of a rectangular cavity 4. These cavities are arranged in such a way that they are assumed, when during the construction

 from the wall, the blocks are staggered, in successive piles. Headers 5 and 5 'are grooved in order to increase their attachment surface.
