<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

"New standard elements for swing constructions !!.
The present invention relates to novel elements capable of being used in a very large number of applications and, in general, in all cases where it is necessary to achieve the interlocking or securing of panels, walls. or any other similar constructional elements.
The object of the invention is to produce new profiles capable of being manufactured in the workshop and subsequently cut to length according to the applications.
Substantially, these elements are in the form of two profiles-of very particular shape, one of which makes the male element and the other the female element of all the parts generally to be assembled and to which these profiles are suitable.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Generally, these profiles will be made of relatively very light sheet metal, the profile of these two standard elements being particularly favorable to their adaptation on site or in the field of any part generally any concrete, wood or any other material.
The male element has a straight section, substantially U-shaped, the intermediate branch of which has been deformed to itself present a? -Shaped section. of transverse dimensions smaller than the first. In other words, this section is characterized by two superimposed U but of different dimensions. These two superimposed profiles are directed in the marl without ,. the smaller profile forming the actual male isolation, while the larger section profile forms a sort of isolation of attachment of the male part to the construction element to be fitted.
The female part is also constituted by the particular arrangement of a complex profile also formed of two but U-shaped sections / directed opposite. The smaller section sort of fits into the larger section and makes the female part of the assembly.
These two elements, male and female, can be made by the well known industrial means of rolling or preferably bending sheet metal, in standard lengths or in any lengths subsequently cut from. dimension.
These two elements produce new industrial products capable of being introduced as such on the market, with a view to modifying certain construction techniques. These elements meet a real current need for construction sites in a large number of application cases.
In order to better demonstrate the characteristics and the field of application of these new elements, certain executions are shown diagrammatically in the appended drawings, in which:
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
FIG. 1 is a diagrammatic perspective view. Male isolation, It consists of a simple light sheet laminated or folded or profiled according to any known process. This section is characterized by the actual male part 1 having a U-shaped section, the side branches 2, 3 of which are straightened outwards, so as to form enlargements 4, 5 which are themselves straightened again. , so as to be brought back parallel to the side branches 23 thus forming the outer flanges 6, 7 of the profile.
The latter can moreover be extended and profiled in any manner deemed useful for the applications envisaged; FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the female element. This has a section also characterized by a U-shaped 8, the side branches 9, 10 of which are also straightened outwards, with a view to making extensions 11, 12. These latter are 'at their'. turn straightened to be brought back parallel to the wings 9, 10, but this recovery is directed in the opposite direction to that of said wings.
Two outer walls are thus formed .la. 14, The width L of the trough is slightly greater than the width 1 of the male part of the first element; FIG. 3 shows schematically the application of these standard elements to the joining of two walls 15, 16 arranged in the same plane '. For this purpose, it suffices to furnish one of the fields with a plate of the female part and one of the fields of the neighboring plate of the male part to ensure ipso facto an em-. limping; FIGS. 4, 4, 5, 5 a, 6 and 7 showing schematically applications respectively achieving an angle, the fixing of a slitting wall and a crossing of two walls with the intervention of the above-described standard elements.
In FIG. 7 a complementary core 17 has been introduced forming a stop for the interlocking elements.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
FIG. 8 is a diagram of a horizontal section showing an easy means of complementary connection. In this execution, the male part .1. is traversed by an internally threaded tube 18. It is therefore sufficient, once the assembly has been carried out, to introduce into the two ends of this threaded tube 18 screws passing through the corresponding parts of the female element. It is obviously possible to replace this lower threaded tube and the fixing screws with any other auxiliary elements capable of performing an equivalent function. For example, the tube could be replaced by a nailable element, the machine screws being replaced by wood screws, nails, dowels or any other equivalent element.
