  "Ceramic tile 1) erfactiol2ad".

The present invention relates to tiles and in particular. This is mainly with earthenware or fat tiles, used for coating the walls.

It is known 'in fact that these tiles very often have the drawback of detaching dela paroiau after a more or less long period of time.

The aim of the present invention is to systematically eliminate this drawback by providing a particularly effective fixing means. Indeed, for this purpose, the back of the tile which was in contact with the wall to be coated, is provided with one or more asperities or protuberances, the profile of which has been established in such a way that it presents at least a part. withdrawal, so as to ensure a

made with the binder used for fixing the tile.

These asperities or prominences will advantageously have a T-section.

Such an exemplary embodiment is moreover illustrated in the accompanying figures, in which: FIG. 1 is a plan view of such a tile; Figure 8 is a section along the line II-II of Figure 1.

In this embodiment, the actual tile 1 is provided with two prominences 2, 3, judiciously arranged and having a T-shaped section, the purpose of which is to create a circumferential groove 4, forming a particularly effective fixing means, given the good price of the binder.

It is understood that these asperities can be air-aular, square, flat, or of any shape. They will generally be executed during the manufacture of the Bar and, preferably, in the same material as the latter.

The number of these protrusions can also vary, in particular according to the dimensions of the tiles and their characteristics.

1, -Covering tile, generally in earthenware, stoneware, etc., characterized by the fact that it has on its back in contact with the wall to be coated, at least one protrusion, the profile of which is determined so that ' it has a re-entrant part, exhibiting good binding to the binder.
