La ,présente invention concerne des perfectionnements aux emballages pour cigares,cigarillos,cigarettes et articles similaires et a pour objet de prévoir dans ces emballages de forme connue, des moyens pour maintenir les articles en tabac manufacture dans leur arrangement ou disposition initiale, s oit, de préférence,ranges régulièrement les uns à coté des autres, cet arrangement persistant,même après qu'une quantité d'artioies ont été retirés de l'emballage pour la consommation.
L'invention consiste donc à appliquer à titre permanent et de manière amovible,des dispositifs simples qui assurent efficacement le maintien en place de l'article de tabac,et diverses formes de réalisation de pareils dispositifs sont possibles. on peut,par exemple,appliquer aux parois de l'emballa-

ge des bandelettes à saillies,de manière à constituer un râtelier dans lequel s'engage le bout du cigare,cigarillos ou cigarette, de façon que ces articles soient maintenue par ces surélévations contre tout déplacement intempestif.
On peut sur le fond de l'emballage,placer la même bandelette offrant des parties saillantes prenant entre les cigares juxtaposes,de façon à empêcher les glissements latéraux des cigares. Les parties saillantes formées sur ces bandelettes peuvent être constituées par des replis des parties découpées et repoussées,soit par des alvéoles pratiqués dans une matière solide,comme le bois,le liège,etc...
Préférablement, ces dispositifs seront choisis de dimension et forme telles à ne pas gêner l'arrangement des articles en tabac les uns à coté des autres, et sans nuire à l'apparen- ce générale de l'emballage rempli.
A titre d'exemple,l'invention sera déorite ci-après sous une forme de réalisation illustrée dans le dessin annexé.
La figure 1 est une vue en plan d'une botte métallique contenant, des cigares; les figures 2 et 3 montrent en élévation et plan,la bandelette de maintien appliquée en double dans cet emballage.
L'emballage tel qu'illustré est constitué par une boîte métallique rectangulaire l,aveo couvercle 2, et oontre le bord arrière adjacent à la charnière et le bord antérieur du fond de botte 1 sont fixées des bandelettes métalliques 3,présentant des replis 4 formant saillants vers l'intérieur. Les bouts des cigares 5 l'engagent exactement entre deux saillies voisines 4 et il en résulte que,quand un nombre de cigares est prélevé de la botte,les oigares restants restent rangés bien parallèle- ment et ne peuvent se détériorer par glissement ou déplacement latéral.
Les bandelettes 3 seront,par exemple, soudées ou autrement maintenues au bord redressé du fond de botte 1.
