La présente invention a pour objet un repose pieds pour motocyclettes ou autres engins de locomotion caractérisé en ce que contrairement aux anciens repose-pieds il peut se régler en hauteur, il peut se fixer dans tous les sens tant verticalement qu' horizontalement ensuite en ce que le bloc caoutchouc après usure d'un côtépeut être retourné pour être employé complètement.
Afin de mieux faire ressortir l'exposé ci-dessus, les des- sins annexes figurant à, titre explicatif représentent:

avec couronne dentée radiale dans laquelle peut s'engager à l'adle voulu une couronne dentée semblable 6 portée par l'extraite de la tige support 7. Cette fixation s'obtient par l'écrou 8 du bou- lon .2 solidaire du plateau 1 . Ce dernier plat,-,,au 1- porte en outre deux boulons 3 sur lesquels sont disposées les rondelles de serra- ge 4 et 5.
La tige support 1 à une section en U et l'âme est percée d'une série de trous 2 dans lesquels s'engagent les extémités des boulons 24 portés par une console 10 qui peut poulisser le long de cette tige support 7. Cette console 10 comporte deux flasques 12. et des parties postérieures rabattues 11 formant guides. Entre les flasques 12 est articulé l'axe 14 du repose-pieds 20. Cet axe 14 est constitué par exemple d'une pièce en forme d'U dont les ailes refermées sont ensuite maintenues pour permettre l'introduction entre elles d'un plateau 15. L'ensemble ,c'est-à-drie. les flasques 12 de la console, les ailes de l'axe 14 et le plateau ourondelle 15 sont traversés par un boulon d'assemblage 13.
Le déplacement angulaire de l'axe 14 du repose pieds est li- mité par deux évidements 19 et 19' de la rondelle 15 dans l'un desquels vient buter une bille 18 sollicitée par un ressort 17 logé dans un chapeau 16 porté par l'une des flasques 12 de la conso- le 10.
Les flasques 12 comportent en outre une découpure formant un talon 23 sur lequel repose une pièce 21 en forme d' uerre glissée sur l'axe 14. Le bloc en caoutchouc 20, formant le repose pieds est traversé par l'axe et reçoit du côté extérieur une pièce 21 sembla- ble à la précédente sur laquelle s'exerce la pression de l'écrou de serrage 22 garnissant l'extrémité de l'axe 14.
Vu l'exposé ci-dessus on conçoit aisément que le repose pieds 20 peut se régler en hauteur par le déplacement de la console 10 le long de la tige support 1 ensuite que grâce à l'articulation forméepar l'axe 13,et peutse placer verticalement ( bille I8 dans l'évidement 19') et horizontalement (bille18dans 1' évidement 19) enfin que le bloc en caoutchouc 20 après usure d'un côté peut

être retourné après enlèvement de l'écrou 22 pour être employé complètement .
Il va de soi que d'autres modalités constructives ou détails de construction peuvent être envisagée ,sans que pour cela on s' écarte de l'idée générale de l'invention et que le dessin ne figure qu' à titre explicatif et non limitatif.

The present invention relates to a footrest for motorcycles or other locomotive devices characterized in that unlike the old footrests it can be adjusted in height, it can be fixed in all directions both vertically and then horizontally in that the rubber block after wear on one side can be turned upside down for full use.

with radial toothed ring in which a similar toothed ring 6 can be engaged at the desired angle 6 carried by the extract of the support rod 7. This fixing is obtained by the nut 8 of the bolt .2 integral with the plate 1. This last flat, - ,, au 1- also carries two bolts 3 on which the tightening washers 4 and 5 are placed.
The support rod 1 has a U-shaped section and the core is pierced with a series of holes 2 in which engage the ends of the bolts 24 carried by a console 10 which can slide along this support rod 7. This console 10 has two flanges 12. and rear folded parts 11 forming guides. Between the flanges 12 is articulated the axis 14 of the footrest 20. This axis 14 consists for example of a U-shaped part whose closed wings are then held to allow the introduction between them of a plate. 15. The whole, that is. the flanges 12 of the console, the wings of the axis 14 and the urondelle plate 15 are crossed by an assembly bolt 13.
The angular displacement of the axis 14 of the footrest is limited by two recesses 19 and 19 'of the washer 15 in one of which abuts a ball 18 urged by a spring 17 housed in a cap 16 carried by the. one of the flanges 12 of the console 10.
The flanges 12 further comprise a cutout forming a heel 23 on which rests a part 21 in the form of an uerre slipped on the axis 14. The rubber block 20, forming the footrest is crossed by the axis and receives from the side. outside a part 21 similar to the previous one on which the pressure of the clamping nut 22 lining the end of the pin 14 is exerted.
Given the above description, it is easy to see that the footrest 20 can be adjusted in height by moving the console 10 along the support rod 1 then only thanks to the articulation formed by the axis 13, and can be placed vertically (ball I8 in the recess 19 ') and horizontally (ball 18 in the recess 19) finally that the rubber block 20 after wear on one side can

be returned after removal of the nut 22 for full use.
