BREVET à' I N V ' N T I 0 N Support pour manche de balai.
La présente invention a pour objet un support destiné à attacher les balais ou autres analogues à leur manche.
Ce support pour manche destiné principalement à l'utilisa- tion dans des lieux humides, trouvera surtout son emploi dans les fermes et dans toute exploitation agricole. Son utilisation sera particulièrement justifiée, du fait qu'il maintient solidement ensemble le balai et son manche, avec une facilité très grande d'ajustement et de fixation abso- lue.
Le soutien consiste en deux demi-douilles ou manchons possédant à leur partie inférieure un bord recourbé que l'on engage dans le balai à travers un trou. En mettant un coin dans la fente formée entre les deux demi-douilles les dits bords recourbés sont pressés contre la partie inférieure du balai celui-ci restant fixé solidement au manche.
Les figures jointes montrent à titre d'exemple une forme d'éxécution d'un support objet de l'invention.

Dans ces figures, le support consiste en deux demi- douilles 1 et 2 munies d'oreilles 3, dans lesquelles s'en- gagent des vis- 4 munies d'écrous, de sorte que ces deux moitiés forment une douille conique. Cette douille ou man- chon est munie à sa partie inférieure d'un bord paillant'5 et chacune.'de ses parties composantes porte une fente 6 destinée à recevoir le coin, la fente de la demi-douille 2 étant plus longue que celle de la demi-douille 1.
Le balai 8 a un trou dans lequel on fiche l'extrémité inférieure du support. Le manche 9 présente à son extrémité inférieure, affectant une forme tronconique, une fente 10, dans laquelle on peut pousser le coin 7. Le manche 9 et le balai 8 sont assujettis de la Manière suivante:
On introduit tout d'abord la demi-douille 1 dans le trou du balai, on fait passer ensuite la demi-douille 2 dans le même trou. Le bord 5 empêche au balai de tomber (Fig. 1) quant le manche 9 est poussé dans la douille for- mée de ses deux parties 1 et 2. On prendra soin, cela va sans dire que les fentes 5 viennent coïncider avec la fente 10 du manche. Les demi'-douilles sont ensuite serrées par les vis 4, et le coin 7 est poussé dans les fentes 6 et 10, assurant ainsi une liaison solide entre le balai et son manche.

REVENDICATIONS
1 / Support pour manche de balai caractérisé par: deux demi-douilles coniques assemblées au moyen de vis et d'écrous introduites dans un trou du balai de telle sorte que le manche soit fixé fortement dans le manchon ainsi formé.
2 / Support pour manche de balai dans lequel un bord recourbé est ptévu à la partie inférieure des demi-douilles.

The present invention relates to a support intended to attach brooms or the like to their handle.
This handle holder, intended primarily for use in damp places, will be particularly useful on farms and in any agricultural operation. Its use will be particularly justified, owing to the fact that it holds the broom and its handle firmly together, with very great ease of adjustment and absolute fixing.
The support consists of two half-sleeves or sleeves having at their lower part a curved edge which is engaged in the brush through a hole. By putting a wedge in the slot formed between the two half-sleeves, said curved edges are pressed against the lower part of the brush, the latter remaining firmly attached to the handle.
The accompanying figures show by way of example one embodiment of a support which is the subject of the invention.

In these figures, the support consists of two half-sleeves 1 and 2 provided with ears 3, in which are engaged screws 4 provided with nuts, so that these two halves form a conical sleeve.
