ETAG 022 establishes a series of tests demonstrating the resistance of a sealing system to the stresses caused by the movements of the building elements, due to the effect of water, temperature variations and alkalinity of the substrates and cement-based adhesives. - The sealing system allows good aging of the assembly, thanks to the perfect connection between the sanitary element, the waterproofing membrane and the flexible seal. - The installation of the sanitary element and the wall finish is done by a finer seal and therefore more aesthetic, and in case of separation of it, the concept will not cause unpleasant infiltration causing big damage. - The aging of the sanitary element or the settlement of the building have no influence on the effectiveness of the seal as well as on the aesthetics of the finish (low expansion possible). - Solidarity to the floor of the sanitary element can be done ideally by a monobloc EPS structure that perfectly fits the shapes of the sanitary element and avoids bending of the longitudinal sides.
