La présente invention sera décrite plus en détail ci-dessous à l'aide d'un exemple de réalisation et de plusieurs figures représentant cet exemple schématiquement. Cellesci illustrent respectivement : fig. 1 : une vue latérale de la partie avant d'une moissonneuse-batteuse automotrice ; fig. 2 : une vue latérale à plus grande échelle d'une partie de la moissonneuse-batteuse représentée à la figure 1 ; fig. 3 : une vue de sommet de la partie de la moissonneuse-batteuse représentée à la figure 2 ;

fig.

"Transport device for the grain tank of a combine harvester" The present invention relates to a transport device for a tank, more particularly for a grain tank of a self-propelled combine harvester, said device comprising a transporter for feed attached indirectly or directly to the tank as well as a distribution conveyor attached to the feed conveyor which can pivot around a bearing on the side of the crop inlet and resting on the crop on the outlet side.
We know from German patent application 38 27 277 a grain tank of a combine harvester to which are added a feed conveyor and a distribution conveyor. In this case, the threshed grains are transported upwards by the feed conveyor and are transmitted to the distribution conveyor provided in the bean container. The outlet side end of the feed conveyor connects directly to the inlet side end of the delivery conveyor so that the grains cannot enter the transfer area. The distribution conveyor is designed as a screw conveyor, the outlet end of which is located approximately in the center of the bean container.
During the filling of a bean container, the delivery conveyor lifts as the bunch of beans increases. The distribution conveyor therefore rests freely at one end on the bean container. However, this does not especially apply to the area below the transfer point of the crop from the supply conveyor to the distribution conveyor. This drawback also clearly appears in FIG. 1 of German patent application 38 27 277.
The objective of the present invention is therefore to develop a transport device of the type described in more detail above so that a good distribution of the grains is ensured over the whole of the loading surface of the bean container, especially in the area above the point

transfer of the crop from the supply transporter to the distribution transporter.
The objective of the present invention is achieved by the fact that between the outlet side end of the supply conveyor and the entry zone of the distribution conveyor is provided a free space ensuring free access of the crop to the bottom of the tank.
In the case of such a configuration of the transport device in question, the crop transported from the feed conveyor is therefore initially precipitated freely downwards on the bottom of the tank. The pivoting distribution conveyor is suspended from the tank without having any transport role. It is only when the pile of grains contained in the tank has increased to the point of reaching the transfer point from the supply conveyor to the distribution conveyor that the latter plays a transport role since at that moment - there the crop spilled on the already accumulated heap reaches the receiving area of the distribution transporter.
In the case of a transport device having a distribution conveyor designed as a screw conveyor, the grain conductor tube of the screw conveyor advantageously has a clear separation distance in relation to the exit from the feed conveyor.
According to another characteristic of the present invention, the control shaft of the screw conveyor is arranged in a known manner in a bevel gear, the gearbox casing being fixed in free rotation on a tank wall and the conductive tube of grains being fixedly connected to the gearbox casing by means of spacers. In this way, a secure attachment of the grain conductor tube is ensured on the one hand, and on the other hand a clear separation distance between the inlet region of the grain conductor tube and the outlet region of the feed conveyor.
The sheet metal of the worm of the distribution conveyor advantageously extends to the gearbox housing so that always a sufficient quantity of grains is transmitted from the pile of grains developing to the tube

grain conductor.
In order to prevent the pile of grains from piling up too much in the transfer area of the crop, a curved sheet metal partially covering the grain conductor tube from the top is connected to this, a second curved sheet being connected to the first and being fixed to at least one wall of the tank. These two curved sheets slide more or less one above the other depending on the inclination of the grain conductor tube, so that an upward overlap is always ensured.
In order to provide this covering with sufficient stability, the two curved sheets have side walls oriented parallel to one another and being connected to each other by means of a pivot so as to be able to rotate, the axis of rotation of the pivot being located in the intended extension of the axis of rotation of the bevel gear.
The grain conductor tube is connected more or less at its central part to a wall of the tank by means of a jack, so as to be able to pivot. This cylinder limits the pivot angle of the grain conductor tube.
The present invention will be described in more detail below with the aid of an exemplary embodiment and of several figures representing this example schematically. These respectively illustrate: fig. 1: a side view of the front part of a self-propelled combine; fig. 2: a side view on a larger scale of a part of the combine harvester shown in FIG. 1; fig. 3: a top view of the part of the combine represented in FIG. 2;
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
fig. 4: a partially sectioned top view of the control side part of the screw conveyor shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The reference number 1 designates the front part of a self-propelled combine with a grain tank 2. To one side of this grain tank 2 is connected a feed channel 3, the end of the outlet side 4 opens into the bean container. Below the outlet zone 4 of the feed conveyor 3 is arranged in the side wall of the bean container 5 the gearbox housing 6 of a bevel gear 7 so that it can pivot. The control shaft 8 of a screw conveyor protrudes into this gearbox housing 6 and has a conical gear wheel 10. This conical gear wheel meshes with another conical gear wheel 10. This shaft 12 projects by one end out of the gearbox casing 6 and carries a chain sprocket.
The latter is connected, via a chain 14, with the chain sprocket 15 of the feed conveyor 3 controlled in a manner not shown. On a control shaft 8 of the feed conveyor 9 is fixed a sheet of the worm 16 in a known manner. Said plate of the worm is surrounded by a grain conducting tube 17, which is fixedly connected in the region of its end on the inlet side to the gearbox casing 6 by means of spacers 18. In this area input the grain conductor tube 17 is designed as a hopper whose inlet opening 31 is inclined relative to the control shaft. The end on the outlet side of the grain conductor tube 17 is connected, by spacers 18 ', to a hub 19 placed on the free end of the control shaft 8.
The pivoting of the screw conveyor 9 is limited downwards by a jack 20, which is fixed on the grain conductor tube by the end on the cylinder side and on a wall of the tank 2 by the end on the rod side. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, a curved sheet 21 is fixed to the grain conductor tube 17 and corresponds with another curved sheet 22, which is fixedly connected to the side wall 23 of the grain tank 2. Depending on the inclination of the screw conveyor 9, the curved sheets 21 and 22 slide more or less one above the other. In order to provide the sheets with sufficient stability, these have side walls 24 and 25 connected one

to the other by means of a pivot 28 so as to be able to pivot.
The axis of rotation 27 of the pivot 28 is located in the intended extension of the axis of rotation 29 of the bevel gear 7. In order to stabilize the grain conducting tube 17 in its upper end position, the curved sheet 22 has a section 30 adapted to the external contour of the tube 17.
