Abstract

Dans ce viscosimètre capillaire, une pompe à engrenages (2) déplace un débit partiel constant de liquide à examiner dans un capillaire (1). Le capillaire de mesure est pourvu d'un transmetteur de pression (3) qui fournit un signal de mesure proportionnel à la pression différentielle au capillaire de mesure (1). La pompe à engrenages (2) comporte une double garniture à presse-étoupe (17, 18, 20, 21) pour l'étanchéité de l'arbre d'entraînement pour permettre l'utilisation du viscosimètre à capillaire dans des conditions variables de pression et de plus de satisfaire aux prescriptions anti-explosion usuelles de l'industrie chimique.
