Abstract
Thread cutter die holder with ratchet, which consists of a body (1) with two parallel bores (110,120) in which the grip and the ratchet can be mounted. The bores are made in protrusions (11,12) of the main body. The bore (120) for the grip is tangentional to the main body. The grip itself has telescopic sections which lock in the end position with spring loaded pins (31).

The present invention relates to an improved die holder pawl, composed of a main body with a head comprising an extended cavity or the die will be housed and positioned, with the possibility of unidirectional work movement thanks to a pawl mechanism.
The improved pawl of the present invention is characterized in that the main body has two parallel parts capable of being machined to mount, respectively, the snap-fit and the control handle, so that the machining can be performed simultaneously in a single Operation. In fact, it comprises a first cavity for mounting the handle, this first cavity comprising an axis, this first hollow axis being tangential to the head so that when the handle is mounted in the first cavity, the handle is tangential to 1a head and a second cavity for mounting the latching mechanism, the second cavity having an axis, this second hollow axis being parallel to the first hollow axis and this second hollow axis passing through the center of the head.
It is also characterized by the fact that the main body part where the control handle is housed is tangential to the head, so that the angle of rotation is greater.
U is also characterized in that the control handle is mounted on said part and comprises at least two positions mounted telescopically with own positioning means for. put itself during the axial movement in the folding / unfolding positions, so that it adopts, at least, two working and transport or storage positions.

EMI2.1
H is also characterized in that the parallel parts are of different length, the longest tangential comprising the telescopic handle.
Other details and particularities of the invention will emerge from the description below, given by way of nonlimiting example and with reference to the appended drawing, the single figure of which is a view in elevation and in section of the pawl of the present invention, with all its elements and / or parts which make it up.
The ratchet is made up of a body. main. 1
EMI2.2
with an extended head 10 comprising an extended cavity 13 for mounting, for example, a die not shown, the die being mounted in the hole 13 of the head 10 with a unidirectional latching
21 which allows a unidirectional movement.
According to the invention and according to the embodiment shown, the main body 1 has two parts
11 and 12 parallel and which respectively include the latching
2 and the handle 3.
The snap 2 is not described in detail, not being the fundamental subject of the invention.
The snap 2 is inserted into an orifice 110 machined in part 11.
Part 12, carrying the handle 3, also comprises a machined orifice 120, constituting a blind orifice, the housing of the handle 3 remaining positioned by its own means, such as seal MI and snap-in rod 31.
The handle 3 is telescopic, being made up of two coaxial parts 3a and 3b which can take at least two working and storage positions and also comprising a button 4 in the extreme position.
. It should be understood that the present invention is in no way limited to the above embodiments and that many modifications can be made without departing from the scope of this patent.
