Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation, avec des rendements élevés, de colorants azoiques de formule HO - A - N=N - B - OH dans laquelle A est un radical benzénique ou naphtalénique pouvant etre substitué et B est un radical naphtalénique pouvant etre substitué, le chainon azo étant lié à ces radicaux en position ortho par rapport aux groupes hydroxy, par diazotation d'une amine HO-A-NH2 et copulation en présence de pyridine ou de bases pyridiques, sur un composant de copulation H-B-OH.
