Description

A Blueberry Moisturizing and Hydrating Facial Mask and Its Preparation Method
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to the field of daily cosmetics, especially to the blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask and its preparation method. BACKGROUND Blueberry is "the top five of the most healthy food of human history" and "the top ten of the most nutritional food of the world". The fruit is the berry in blue, which is rich in vitamin E, vitamin A, B vitamins, superoxide dismutase, arbutin, protein, anthocyanin and mineral elements. The vitamin and anthocyanin content is several times or even dozens of times higher than that of ordinary fruits. As an all-natural anti-aging supplement, anthocyanins have been proven to be the most effective natural antioxidants found in humans today, and are known as "edible cosmetics for skin".It stimulates the skin's own nutritional regeneration, makes the skin smooth and elastic by inhibiting elastase and collagenase, enhances the smoothness of the skin, strengthens the skin's immunity and anti aging effects, accelerates skin absorption, and prevents skin damage caused by excessive dryness. With late nights and overtime, or long-term use of electronic products, or prolonged exposure to the outdoors, the skin is increasingly dry; as aging, skin metabolism slows down, and skin immunity and anti-aging ability is gradually declining, so it is vital to take care of skin. As one of skin-care products, the principle of mask is to cover the face for a short period of time to temporarily isolate the outside air and pollution, promote sweat secretion and metabolism, and make the moisture of the mask infiltrate the stratum corneum to soften skin. However, the function of the mask still can not meet people's pursuit of beauty, health and youth. Human's pursuit of natural skin-care products gradually prevail as well. For instance, patent No. 201310521959.5,"A Blueberry Wine Mash Nutritional Facial Mask and Its Preparation Method", discloses the use of solution for mask base, pre-made blueberry wine mash, moisturizer, preservative, antioxidant, pearl powder, natural aromatic oil, and vitamin E. Moreover, another example is Patent No. 201210155179.9 "A Rhodiola Crenulata Facial Mask with Rejuvenating and Moisturizing Effect", which discloses the use of Rhodiola Crenulata's root extract, black tea extract, blueberry fruit extract, hydrolyzed silk, 1,2-hexanediol, carbopol, Xanthan gum, glycerin, butylene glycol, sodium hyaluronate, propylene glycol, nicotinamide, triethanolamine, and water. SUMMARY To solve the above technical problems, the present invention provides a blueberry moisturizing and hydrating mask facial and its preparation method. The present invention is realized by the following technical solutions. A blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask, consisting of the following raw materials of the weight percentage: hydroxyethyl cellulose 0.2-0.5%, trehalose 1-3%, butylene glycol 1-3%, hyaluronic acid 3-6%, blueberry extract 0.1-0.3%, preservative 0.02-0.2%, the remaining is deionized water. Further, it consists of the following weight percentage of the ingredients: hydroxyethyl cellulose 0.2-0.4%, trehalose 1.3-2.8%, butylene glycol 1.3-2.8%, hyaluronic acid 4-6%, blueberry extract 0.15-0.3%, preservative 0.02-0.15%, and the remaining is deionized water. Further, it consists of the following weight percent ingredients: 0.3% hydroxyethyl cellulose, 2% trehalose, 2% butanediol, 5% hyaluronic acid, 0.24% blueberry extract, 0.1% preservative, and the remaining is deionized water. The present invention also provides a method for preparation of the blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask, comprising the steps of: 1) Adding hydroxyethyl cellulose to deionized water, heating and stirring to 58-65°C, stirring at constant temperature until the solution is transparent, and then adding trehalose and stirring in an adequate manner. 2) cooling what is acquired from step 1) to below 40°C, adding butylene glycol, hyaluronic acid, blueberry extract and preservative, stirring in an adequate manner, and cooling to room temperature. After the final step, the facial mask is made. Further, the preservative is either one of the chemicals, imidazolidinyl urea (Germall 115) and 1,2-pentanediol (PTD),or the combination of two of them.
Further, the blueberry extract is an extraction of vitamin C, anthocyanins and superoxide dismutase from blueberries. Further, the blueberry extract is produced by enzymatic and alcoholic extraction. Further, the blueberry extract is made by adding 0.005-0.5% of its weight of biological enzymes to the blueberry fruit, shading and standing for 1-5h, adding alcohol solution, shading and stirring for 3-8h, and filtering and saving the filtrate under pressure to obtain blueberry extract. Further, the biological enzyme either one of the chemicals, fiber enzyme, pectase, juice enzyme, compelx pectinase and glucanase, or a combination of any of them. Further, the alcohol solution have a concentration of 40-95% by volume. Further, the alcohol solution is in an amount of 2-20 times the weight of the blueberries. Further, the alcohol solution is any one of methanol, ethanol, propanol or butanol. The present invention also provides a method of applying blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask in a slow manner, it comprises the following steps of: 1) After cleansing the skin with warm water, applying an appropriate amount of blueberry moisturizing and hydrating mask evenly on face. 2) Leave it on for 15-20min, wash with water or remove the mask with a cotton pad. The usage cycle of the blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask of the present invention is 2-3 times/week. The beneficial effects of the present invention are described below: The blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask made by using the ratio and method of the present invention has the effects of brightening skin tone, moisturizing, increasing skin nutrition, improving skin elasticity and skin condition, and contains no dangerous and irritant content. The invention can supplement the skin with nutrients through reasonable design with right ingredient ratio, and make use of the interaction between raw materials to make the synergistic effect of hyaluronic acid and trehalose , which in turn enhances the repair and water-locking ability of the skin, and by adding blueberry extract, the synergistic effect of anthocyanin and vitamin C co-existing environment occurs, which improves the antioxidant performance of the skin. Under this condition, superoxide dismutase and hyaluronic acid have synergistic effect, so that the mask ingredients can be effectively absorbed by the skin, which enhances the immunity of the skin and improves the condition of the skin. The invention combines the limitations of the technological parameters in the preparation process to enable the formation of a protective film on the skin to achieve the ability to remove oil and dirt. With the appropriate ratio of raw materials, it protects the immune activity of epidermal cells, promotes the metabolism of surface cells, and further improves the skin's ability to lock water and scavenge free radicals through appropriate usages. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The technical solutions of the invention are further described below, but the scope of the claimed protection is not limited to that described. Test case 1 Name of the sample under test: the blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask. Test purpose: to test the efficacy of the sample and the possibility of causing adverse reactions on human skin.
Test method: 60 women with healthy, clean, acne-free facial skin were selected and divided into 5 groups, in which they were given the blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask prepared in Example 4. After cleansing the skin with warm water daily, l2mL of the blueberry moisturizing and hydrating facial mask was evenly applied to the face (avoiding the eyes and mouth), left it on skin for 15min, washed with water, and continuously tried to apply for 1 month to observe the adverse facial conditions. The results showed that 7 volunteers out of all showed slight redness and itching of the skin.
