Description
Description
Technical Field The present invention relates to the technical field of feed additives, and particularly relates to a plant feed additive for preventing and treating diarrhea of weaned piglets and a preparation method.
Background In the modem pig industry, with large-scale breeding, timely weaning of piglets has become an important link of pig production because weaning is related to the reproductive potential of sows and the growth and development of piglets and also influences the production cycle and overall economic benefits of the pig industry. At weaning, the digestive tract of the piglet has not been fully developed, the own immune system has not been fully developed, and the level of maternal antibodies is gradually decreased. Therefore, early weaning influences the digestive function of the piglet, decreases immunity, and easily leads to diarrhea. Without nutrition regulation, the feed intake of the piglet may be reduced, a feed conversion rate is low and organ development is poor. Not only the health of live pigs is influenced, but also a lot of economic losses may be caused. In production practice, chemicals such as antibiotics have been often added to pig ration to prevent piglet diarrhea for a long time. However, the disadvantages (such as drug residues and drug resistance) of long-term use of chemicals such as antibiotics are well known. To sum up, the problem to be urgently solved by those skilled in the art is how to provide a feed additive for preventing and treating diarrhea of weaned piglets having good effect and safety and having no side effect.

Description
In view of this, the present invention provides a plant feed additive for
preventing and treating diarrhea of weaned piglets and a preparation method.
To achieve the above purpose, the present invention adopts the following
technical solution:
The plant feed additive for preventing and treating diarrhea of weaned piglets
comprises the following components in parts by mass: 100-150 parts of Radix
codcnopsitis pilosulas, 100-200 parts of Radix astragali, 100-200 parts of
Atractylodes, 100-200 parts of Acanthopanax, 200-300 parts of malt, 50-200 parts
of hawthorn, 100-200 parts of tangerine peel, 50-150 parts of dandelion, 50-100
parts of pulsatilla and 100-200 parts of honeysuckle.
The beneficial effects are: natural plants with effects of resisting viruses and
bacteria, enhancing immunity, promoting digestion and strengthening the spleen
and stomach are selected and combined with compound additives; the non-specific
immunity of piglets can be improved to a certain extent, and diarrhea of the
weaned piglets can be prevented. The additives of malt and hawthorn in the present
invention have the functions of invigorating the spleen and appetizing, promoting
qi and promoting digestion, and are beneficial to the digestion, absorption and
utilization of nutrients by the gastrointestinal tract. Radix astragali, Radix
codcnopsitis pilosulas and Acanthopanax have the effects of invigorating qi, invigorating the spleen and enhancing immunity. The compatibility of Atractylodes
and tangerine peel has the effects of regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen,
and drying dampness and resolving phlegm. Dandelion and honeysuckle can clear
heat and remove toxicity. In modern pharmacological research, dandelion and
honeysuckle have the effects of clearing heat and resisting inflammation, bacteria
and viruses. The additive provided by the present invention contains various
antibacterial Chinese medicinal plants (honeysuckle, dandelion, pulsatilla, Radix
astragali and Atractylodes) which increase antibacterial types to form a
broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, but has no antagonistic effect with probiotics.

spray feces of piglets are recorded as diarrhea. The number and states of piglets
with diarrhea, and continuous days of diarrhea are recorded every day, and each
pig is recorded.
Diarrhea rate = (number of piglets with diarrhea xdays of diarrhea)/(total
number of experimental pigs x total days of experiment) x 100%
(5) Experimental results: the experimental results are shown in Table 1.
Table 1 Experimental Results
Groups Control Group Test Group1 Test Group 2 Test Group 3 Diarrhea Rate 1.41 ±0.31a 0.95 ±0.14b 1.01 ±0.2 5b 0.61 ±0.19c
Through the analysis of the test results, compared with the control group, the
diarrhea rates of the test group 1 and the test groups 2 are obviously reduced
(P<0.05), and the diarrhea rate of the test group 3 group is extremely obviously
reduced (P<0.01); and compared with the test group 1 and the test group 2, the
diarrhea rate of the test group 3 is obviously reduced (P<0.05). It can be concluded
from the test that the fermented compound Chinese herbal medicine has the
strongest inhibitory effect on diarrhea of the pigs, followed by antibiotics, and
unfermented compound Chinese herbal medicine. It indicates that the fermented
compound Chinese herbal medicine group has the best effect on inhibiting
diarrhea.
The experimental results show that the feed additive of the present invention
has the effect of preventing and treating diarrhea of the weaned piglets, and can
replace the antibiotics in production.
