Abstract

The sectional bars (2) are welded to the girder chord (1) in the longitudinal direction and engage into the concrete of the slab (6). The parts of the sectional bars (2) generally projecting at right angles from the girder chord (1) are provided with continuous holes (3) at narrow intervals. The concrete passing through the holes (3) in a dowel-like manner makes two-shear shear connections between the concrete slab (6) and sectional bar (2), via which shearing forces can be transmitted in any direction in the girder plane. This prevents the concrete slab from being lifted off, so that, in principle, no special loops or dowels are needed for the tension-resistant connection between the girder chord (2) and concrete slab (6). The effect of the horizontal concrete dowels can be increased by means of bolts and/or reinforcing bars (5) which are inserted through the holes (3). <IMAGE>
