Abstract

1. Apparatus for rolling rings for the production of disk-like rings sleeve-like extensions formed thereon, especially for the production of so-called welded neck flanges (31) used for the connection of pines, with the aid of a ring-shaped template (9) which may be mounted on a turntable (8), with a cross beam (5) supported for vertical adjustment in a press type machine frame and provided with at least one bearing box (18, 19) for at least one overhung coneshaped axial roll (20, 21), the lower generating line of which is positioned parallel, i.e. horizontally to the table plane to roll down the thickness of a hot-rolled annular disk-shaped blank in its circumferentially floating position inside the template, the cross beam (5) being provided with at least one horizontally adjustable bearing box (22, 23) to hold an overhung vertically adjustable vertical roll (25), the diameter of which is considerably smaller then the inside diameter of the blank and the position of which is angularly transposed to the axial roll or rolls, characterized in that a cylindrical section of the vertical roll (24) is followed by a cone-shaped section.
