Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht. sich auf eine Waschmaschine für Hand-oder Fabiiksbetrieh und besteht im wesentlichen darin, dass die siebartig gelochte Wäschetrommel und der Quirl in entgegengesetzter Richtung rotieren und dass das gelochte Blech der Trommel gewellt ist.
In einem entsprechend grossen Ofen 1, der auf Füssen ruht, ist das zylindrische Gehäuse 2 der Maschine eingebaut. Durchsetzt wird dieses Gehäuse von einer Welle 3, die an ihrem einen Ende ausserhalb des Gehäuses ein Kegelrad und an ihrem anderen Ende den Antrieb trägt. Inner-

Der Quirl besteht aus Holz oder einem Blechkörper und besitzt drei oder mehrere Flügel, die gegen die Nabe zu sich verbreitern und am äusseren Ende halbzylindrisch abgerundet sind.
An einer beliebigen Stelle der Trommel befindet sich eine grössere, durch einen abnehmbaren Deckel verschliessbare Öffnung zum Einbringen der Wäsche. Auch am Gehäuse ist eine entsprechende Tür angeordnet sowie auch ein Hahn, welcher zum Entleeren des Waschwassers dient.
