   Für Transformatorenölkessel werden vielfach zum Zwecke besserer Wärmeableitung Kessel mit gewellten Wänden verwendet. Bei der jetzigen Ausführung dieser Kessel aus Wellen mit geraden Flachseiten besteht nun der Übelstand, dass sich die Flachseiten der Wellen infolge des   Öldruckes   stark durchbiegen und den Kanal für den Luftdurchzug stark verringern. Zur Verkleinerung dieser Durchbiegung ist man gezwungen, die Wellen aus starkem Blech her-

   Werden jedoch die Flachseiten der Wellen bogenförmig gekrümmt, wobei sie entweder   einfach gekrümmt, wie   aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich. oder mehrfach gekrümmt, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt, sein können, so ist es   möglich.   die so versteiften Wellen bei beliebig hohem Kasten aus   I   mm starken und noch schwächeren Blechen herzustellen. Statt nach Bogenform kann die Krümmung auch nach einem Vieleck (Fig.   3)   gebildet sein. Es treten bei innerer Beanspruchung nur Zugbzw. Druckspannungen in den Flachseiten der Wellen auf. so. dass keinerlei nennenswerte Durchbiegungen eintreten können.

   For transformer oil boilers, boilers with corrugated walls are often used for the purpose of better heat dissipation. With the current design of these kettles consisting of shafts with straight flat sides, there is now the disadvantage that the flat sides of the shafts bend sharply due to the oil pressure and greatly reduce the duct for the passage of air. To reduce this deflection one is forced to make the shafts from thick sheet metal.

Instead of an arc shape, the curvature can also be formed according to a polygon (FIG. 3). In the event of internal stress, only tensile or Compressive stresses in the flat sides of the waves. so. that no significant deflections can occur.

PATENT CLAIM: Corrugated sheet metal vessel for oil transformers with the flat side of the shafts stiffened against bending by the oil pressure, characterized in that the flat sides of the shafts are curved one or more times according to an arc or a polygon.
